What a finish to the season.

The Toronto Rock defeated the Halifax Thunderbirds to capture their first NLL Championship since 2011, completing one of the biggest turnarounds the league has seen in recent years.

Parade is a little much, and I’m guessing it would have to be in Hamilton at the arena or a mall or something, but interested if they have one at all or get any sort of acknowledgement.

What a Game 1.

It honestly felt like Halifax controlled large stretches of that game early on, especially with how dominant they were at the faceoff dot and in transition, but Toronto just kept hanging around and eventually flipped the entire game late.

Curious what everyone’s biggest takeaway was from Game 1.

I'm a reporter with The Hamilton Spectator, and I'm working on a piece about event surge pricing in the downtown core. Is anyone planning to drive to the game later, and if so, what are your expectations for parking costs? Have you already been surprised by a higher-than-expected charge to park near a game?

I bought two tickets for this Fridays game (Section 114, Row 18, seats 5-6).

I then realized that a third person wanted to go with me, but there are no seats available beside mine.

I am hoping to sell my two tickets, at a discount, and buy 3 tickets elsewhere. I have the tickets on sale on Ticketmaster but if anyone here would want the tickets, I would rather not give Ticketmaster more money unnecessarily!

Please let me know, I would happily get rid of them for less than I paid for!
