So, I am obviously obsessed with finding this fic that just keeps eluding me. Waking up at 4 a.m. this morning, thinking about it yet again (see, obsessed), I decided to try a differently worded Google Search. Question: Did Jus0b (who I now know to be Jusobele...omg) write any Edward/Bella fanfiction? Result was not a direct answer (!) so I then asked that same search if Jus0b (Jusobele) wrote An Inconvenient Truth, leading to the stuff regarding Al Gore's 2006 project on global warming. Hi everyone! I'm looking for Twilight fanfiction recommendations with a very specific vibe.
I really love the initial phase of Edward and Bella's relationship, but I hate when the story gets interrupted by external action plots (James, Volturi wars) or forced drama (Jacob love triangle). I'm looking for a focus on Edward's genuine fascination/obsession with getting to know Bella (since he can't read her mind), and Bella trying to better understand the vampire world and what it implies. If there are moments with Charlie and Bella too, that would be great—I've always loved the beginning of their relationship with the awkward glances, etc.
I'm mainly looking for something that addresses the dilemma of whether or not to date a vampire, and Edward being fascinated and trying to find out more about what Bella is thinking.
I don't know anything about fanfiction, so I don't know if what I'm asking for even exists. When I searched, I was overwhelmed by an avalanche of stories and didn't know which one would be best for me. Could anyone help me out?

I’m rewatching twilight and had a theory of Edward. Imagine before Bella, he dated multiple women over the decades before Bella, and he never turned them and watched them get old (he told Bella he didn’t want to turn her in new moon) this is so he could of had multiple romantic human lovers throughout his vampire life? Might be a weird request but are there fics out there where when Rosalie explains once again her behavior or laments the fact that Bella should have children etc, and Bella either explains her wish to never have kids or explains she’s infertile (and still doesn’t want any kids anyway).
I was just cooking and imagined Bella stopping and going like « so …. You’re vampires and none of you realized that in all the years I’ve known you all I’ve never had a period? » so now I crave something like that in a fic, or something where she defends her choice to be childfree no matter whether she’s human or a vampire.
Obviously no Renesmee/Rutabaga ever… please, that whole murderous alien baby to give Bella the « picture perfect ending » is a no for me.
So I'veen looking forward to a all human high school (mostly) story where Edward hits on bella regularly but bella constantly rejects him (until she catches feelings for him).

I promised that my fic, Witnesses of Light ~Warriors II~ would be updated on the 12th of August, and here we are 😄 The story is finally complete, with 25 chapters. Originally it had 33, but I chose to remove all the Volterra chapters from the end because I wanted to focus more on Bella's and Jacob's friendship and later romance. Nonetheless, word count went from ~75k to ~90k so there should be enough to read!

In this AU, Bella is attacked by Victoria which made Aro bring her to Volterra in haste, ofc Aro is LIVID commands a full on war on Victoria and announced it using the bell.
In which basically summons all vampires to hunt down Victoria.

I am honestly so tired of self-insert / OC female characters in Twilight fanfiction falling for the same old vampires and shape-shifters.
What I really want is an SI/OC girl who bypasses the supernatural drama entirely because her only target from day one is Charlie Swan. Man deserves someone who actually appreciates him!
I've been outlining a specific reveal scene in my head and wanted to get people's thoughts on it.
Picture this: Bella comes back after her transformation, super dramatic and intense, ringing the front door to explain her "condition" and talk to her father.
An OC answers the door wearing one of Charlie's oversized flannel shirts. Bella is completely bewildered and urgently demands to see her dad.
Instead of getting frantic, the OC just casually turns toward the stairs and yells: "Daddy! Come here for a second!"
From upstairs, Charlie yells back: "Yes, coming, sweetheart! Just looking for my boots!"
And while they're waiting for him to walk down the stairs, the OC turns back to a frozen, newborn vampire Bella, smiles, and whispers:
"You know I call him daddy, too?"
Would anyone else read a fic with this premise, or have recommendations for SIs where Charlie is the actual main love interest? How would you build up to this scene?
