I lived in Hale dorm at UConn from 1996-1998. There was a place to eat after regular dining hall hours that was located in the Putnam Refectory building. I seem to remember they served nachos, quesadillas, etc. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this place! Anyone remember this?
Is everyone at UConn this unprofessional as the housing department is? I was not offered housing after I was told countless times as long as I applied before the due date of May 22nd I’d receive guaranteed housing. Fine, they send me an email saying they couldn’t offer it but to reach back out on a different date with an update. That day comes by, radio silence. So I had to then reach out, email multiple times, and call before someone finally has the courtesy to reach back out, only to tell me it’s not likely I’ll receive housing? Keep in mind , not once do they tell you anywhere that that housing is extremely limited. What the heck am I supposed to do now? I’m an incoming freshman, I can’t afford off-campus housing. Like this is genuinely so mind-blowing, I should’ve went with UMass instead of this unprofessional ass school.🤦🤦
