shutter for my barrel lens
On my 5x7 camera I wanted to use a barrel lens I recently acquired but for xray film I need a higher shutter speed than I can do with my lens cap. The easiest DIY design would be a gravity driven guillotine shutter but the bed of my Linhof camera would be in the way. At first I tried elastic bands but they didn't extend enough so no I use a retractable card chain thingy. Today I tested it with film and it works!
