it’s just started doing this but i can’t use the tv because it’s acting like i’ve held a button down and i have only had the tv for a little less than a year and a half. the remote used to control my lg soundbar’s volume and it doesn’t do even that anymore. are we thinking it’s the remote or is this tv now garbage?
What’s up my Vizio? It’s about 3 years old. It tells me its software is updated. It just shuts off at random times. No rhyme or reason for it.
leave the tv afk for a few mins, it start playing that free nature shit on its own (i know u can disable it but i like it and the sounds it makes) but then a few mins after dat they turn off the screensaver to show you ads. Not one ad literally back to back ads. What the fuck bro are they serious this a expensive ass tv that doesn't even have a web browser built in it man typing this made me mad as fuck I never throw away boxes or receipts so im js returning this shit. don't buy a vizio smart tv. if mods take this down im reposting to other Vizio subs
My vizio model is E3D470VX. It has been working fine for a few months, but when I turn in on now it's on demo mode. The only buttons that work are the power and volume buttons. The remote doesn't work at all, including an universal remote that I bought. I don't know what's wrong with it.
It’s been removed from the Vizio iOS app and it’s missing entirely from the TV’s settings menu.

I'm using the M50qxm-k01 as my computer monitor. Most of the time I have my PC set to 2160p, 120 hz but for certain games I use the 1080p, 240 hz mode. It was working fine earlier today, then I ran to the store. When I got home and turned the TV on, the bottom 2/3rds of the screen was full of red lines. After I managed to blindly set the resolution back to 4k, the screen went back to normal. Now, 1080p suddenly only works at 120 hz. I kept getting these red lines when switching to 240 hz. I managed to fix that by setting the resolution back to 4k, 120 hz and then switching my refresh rate in the windows settings to 240 hz, which forced the resolution back to 1080p. That fixed the red lines, but the whole screen is now getting compressed on the sides. I have absolutely no idea what's happening or what caused it. 120 hz vs 240 hz isn't really that big of a deal to me, but it's so frustrating when a feature that was working fine suddenly refuses to work at all half an hour later.
I’ve had these 2 Vizio smart tvs for about a year, never any problems using YTTV on either.
Just had to replace my hotspot (new device is wifi7, not sure if that matters) and now I’m struggling to get YTTV specifically to work.
On one tv, it just plays the leading graphic, goes dark briefly, then plays the graphic again. No sound, just the graphics on loop. Sometimes I can get it to work if I switch to a different network and back. Sometimes I have to reset all apps and log in to YTTV again. If I can get it working, it’ll be fine for a while, then stop again. No error message.
The other tv will play the loading graphic, no sound, go dark briefly, then go to a white screen with a network error. Sometimes switching to another network and back will fix it. Once it’s on, it dies great for a while, then dies. Seems especially problematic if we want to change the channel.
I have factory reset both TVs, my hotspot, brand new WiFi extender, everything I can think of. App is pre-installed on the TVs and there’s no way to uninstall/reinstall that I can find.
Literally every other streaming app we use on these TVs works with no issues. Im at a loss for what to try next. Does this sound like an app issue, a tv issue, or a network issue?
Today these came up on the screen and have not gone away. They show up on the bottom right if the screen. No impact to the screen, no drop, it hangs on a big wall.
I purchased the TV Aug 2026 from Walmart, i dont have a receipt but i do have the card i bought it with.

Went to bed last night tv was fine, turned it on this morning to this tried power cycling and nothing??? This tv isint even 2 years old.
Short and simple. Have a V4K65M-0810 65 inch smart Vizio TV. Owned for less than a year, never moved, hardly used, immaculate condition. Now won’t turn on, spoke with support endlessly. They hard reset my tv and then determined I would need to replace it out of pocket with no other solutions. Nearly a 500 dollar TV hardly used and already failed. Won’t ever consider buying a Vizio again, went off childhood fantasy’s that this brand lived forever 🤦♂️ can’t even make it a year on a new product.

After getting very upset with support and inquiring about what parts to purchase for a fix — I’m getting a full refund for the TV. I don’t know what changed but clearly a known issue. Just go with another brand, that’s my only message out of this.

I got it from my roommate when he was moving out. It worked great for 3 months but 2 days before it just turned off by itself. Since then I haven't been able to turn it on. I have tried changing power chords, outlets, resetting etc.

I'm not sure what to do. I'm considering crashing out and throwing this tv into the street, but I'm not sure if that's the example I want to set for my kids no matter how tempting it is.
Had the TV for just over a year, it's been a pain the last couple of months. Today it wouldn't load anything. After unplugging it, forgetting the wi-fi network, and issuing it a series of verbal threats, I did a factory reset.
Now it seems it's lost the will to TV. It won't give me the QR code, or a pin to complete the set up. So here I sit, drinking bourbon and watching this tiny circle spin instead of watching The Princess Bride. If anybody has any suggestions, I'm very open to them!!

I have an older Vizio tv (one that uses the link button to set up wifi). I just moved houses and the tv connected fine to wifi at the old location but now when I use the link button to get into setup mode it won’t show up on the Vizio app. Is it just completely unsupported at this point and is now useless or is there a workaround of some kind?
trying to get the best sound from my set up I have the Vizio elevate and and VIZIO 65" Class Quantum Pro 4K QLED HDR TV (VQP65C-84) with Apple TV for watching cable. I don’t get surround sound (rear speakers) unless I switch to PCM. when watch tv though Apple. if I use streaming from the apps on the Vizio tv it’s great surround sound. do I need to use PCM? I have hdmi e arch from tv to speaker
