What will come of Vermeil In Gold

As stated in Shonen Gangan's post, "Further information about the publication of previously uncollected chapters and future plans will be announced in Shonen Gangan magazine and on the official website as soon as decisions are made."

Is this mostly copium? Yes, however this manga's author is highly aware of the love people had for it. And though chances are slim, there is a non-zero chance that we may receive some sort of content in the future. I recommend everyone check the author's Twitter in the coming months, because I doubt I'm alone when I say any future plans are welcome no matter how small they may be.

So what's the next move? I know it's very sad to learn about the death of the illustrator Youko Umezu, but yeah, we just can't do anything about the manga. Are you guys still gonna post about Vermeil in Gold in this group, or are y'all leaving

Yōko Umezu, Illustrator of Vermeil In Gold has passed away

Slide 1 - Obituary from Shonen Gangan

Slide 2 - Regards from Kōta Amana l, Vermeil In Gold's author

Slide 3 - Volume 11 of Vermeil In Gold, its last release

Slides 2 and 3 were both translated using Google Lens, it's legible, but not 100% accurate. In case you can't see the smaller text in slide 1, we should be receiving news on what's to happen with the unreleased chapters of Vermeil In Gold in the next Shonen Gangan magazine, because the latest chapter is the last officially released.. I'd also look out for information coming from Kōta Amana's twitter page.

Rest in peace, Yōko Umezu. Vermeil In Gold was quite the wild ride.
