ClipTech Mod...sorry 😂

ClipTech Mod...sorry 😂

Well, I'm sure this will anger the gods and give the purists a heart attack but I did a thing.

TB clip tech made to fit into the tape clip.

Veto pouches are superior etc etc etc however I haven't found one that works for me but have a TB pouch that...well...works!

Did have it on the D ring but far too much flapping around

MCP or MCTP as an electrician

Im an electrician and my Klein backpack just died after 8 years. I’m wanting to get a veto bag but haven’t fully decided which one yet. I’m thinking the MCP as I like its smaller than other bags, but worry it will be too small and will need the extra height of the MCTP. I’m also wanting the pocket on the side for the meter, unless people think it’s unnecessary and a waste of space.

I have also thought about the Tec Pac, but worry it’s too bag and heavy, really wanting to slim down my tool bag, but am open. Thanks

Starting on a part time electrician work, always wanted a Veto!

Will start working part time as an electrician after my corporate engineering job, always wanted a Veto bag! Its not at full capacity, but I'll upgrade the tool set on a need basis, I figure I have enough to start cracking! Love the infrared, and the side pockets are great without adding too much bulk.

Picked this up half price. Love it

I'm a public EV charger service technician so I'm always working out of a boot of a car on my own so no need of a lid. I really like having it open top so I can quickly swap and place tools back quickly.

Such a nice neat and compact bag.

Hybrid setup

DP3 x Flux X Tempo Belt

Still waiting on some accessory pouches 😁

I know it’s not a full veto load out but I feel like this could be a really nice setup.

Will post when fully loaded out.

I sometimes wish veto belt pouches had more options for clip on attachments, like Molle webbing on the sides of the pouch

Anyone else feel the same way or rocking something similar?

Any suggestions welcomed

Mb5b vs mct?

looking to get into the veto bag world and I’m going to purchase a mp2x for a quick grab and go pouch that hangs on the side of the bag but I really just can’t decide. i like the back pack straps on the mb5b and the meter pockets, but the mct is double sided. I do electrical work so a good amount of tools are a must. any recommendations?

Tried the Mp1x today for the first time and extremely disappointed (electrician) this thing sucks super bad not only is it constantly falling out of place but it destroys your belts, what do you guys like about it?

Looking for a good veto bag

So I just finished out my first year and for most of it I’ve mainly done underground work (ductbank, manhole buildouts, pipe in ditch etc) so I havent really needed a good bag or anything. linemans and a screwdriver will get you far in the underground world😭. But I’m moving to do some inside commercial work and I have another year of grant money for some tools and bags. im gonna upgrade to knipex strippers and pump pliers but i really want to get a good veto bag that can hold all this and maybe a few more items like a meter or miscellaneous items a lot more comfortably. Any recommendations?

First Veto Pro Pac. Tech Pac MC Loadout

I recently upgraded to a backpack from a small drill pouch, I wanted organization but also still in a small/ not heavy form factor. So it turned out that this backpack was even smaller than Milwaukees low profile backpack. I work as electrician/ foreman and don’t do too much work because our company hires subs, so I only keep basic tools to do small installs/ repairs and troubleshooting.

I found a way to attach Klein mod box clip so I can keep the small touch pouch on it similar to the evo systems

Let me know if there’s anything you guys recommend me carrying!

Bag recommendations please

Carry this daily and can have a few smaller tools (smaller screwdrivers/ spanners) needed sometimes. looking to upgrade to a veto. Just unsure which one. I like the TP3/TP4.

Is the Tech Pac MC in Hi Viz Orange discontinued in the US?

This bag seems incredibly rare to find for some reason. Did Veto discontinue it or something?

Wera RA-R replacing Klein multi driver.

I bought a wera ra-r ratcheting driver a few months back. Loved it from the moment I opened it, but I'm sort of a stubborn old mule. It wouldn't fit where my klein 14 in 1 went in my mp2x thats on my belt or very near me 100% of my work day. I tried rearranging, putting the wera in a different slot, and for a lot of fellas I suppose that would be good enough. But I reach for my driver and it's not there, so I stop and think oh yeah I moved it, and by that time I'm already putting the klein back because of a silly creature comfort. The wera is clearly better in every way, except it doesn't fit where my primary driver goes.

This last Friday, I'm putting the cover back on a 12x12 outdoor enclosure after diagnosing and writing up parts list at alightning strike equipment failure. One of the nice ones with the sq2 bolts with the retainers on the lid. Second to last bolt, my sq1 sq2 flip comes out and hits the remarkably metallic Grey gravel. I looked for that thing for way longer than any man should look for a 2 dollar bit. It wasn't about the bit, it was the principle of the thing. I can't find it, so I walk back to the van and get a my sq2 dedicated driver out of the backpack. Put the last 2 cover bolts in, and i solemnly swore that I'm done with the garbage proprietary flip bit nonsense. I made it several years without losing one. Replaced a fair few ph2 singles cause I like a crisp ph2, but i always knew someday I'd lose one of those dumb shits. I can't get them locally, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna order a flip bit when a new driver is 20 bucks. Except they changed the design....the ph2 is on a flip of the ph1. I refer back to my crisp ph2 comment.

All that rambling to say that this stubborn mule made that CHUNKY wera slide down in the driver slot of the mp2x. I've seen a lot of guys say the wera drivers are cool but they're too fat to fit in a driver slot. That is correct out of the box, but through sheer stubbornness it is possible to make the thing go. It's snug, and that nylon(?) web ring is banjo tight, but nothing tore and after a stretch on the dash with a fat socket, then a bunch of gentle fucking with it, then some wax paper rubbing, i have achieved what nobody gives a shit about.

Now to order an evo mp2 and do it again... maybe. And also replace this klein security bit driver with flip nonsense maximum with a real tool.

A better CB-LD.

I really love my Veto CB-LD. In fact, I’m happier with it than I was with the Tech Pac MC Evo that got me the CB-LD for free. If I could change one thing, though, I think it would make the bag even better: I wish it came with the same side pouch pockets that the SP-MC and SP-LD have. The pouches on this bag are fine, but it would be amazing to customize the sides to better fit my needs.

Do You Wear Your Veto Bag, Or Set It Down?

I’m curious if you normally wear your Veto bag while you’re working, either on a toolbelt or slung over your shoulder with a strap?

Or do you normally carry the Veto bag to where you’ll work then set it down on the ground?

The smaller bags like TP3 and TP4 seem designed for either.

I’m exploring alternatives to traditional carpenters’ toolbelts.
