[HIRING] Video Editor Needed – High Volume / Ongoing Work

I’m looking for reliable video editors to work with on an ongoing basis.

This isn’t just a one-off project. I’m producing a high volume of short-form content and I’m looking to build a small group of editors I can consistently send work to.

What I’m looking for:

● Experience editing TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form content
● Strong understanding of pacing, hooks and viewer retention
● Clean captions/subtitles
● Zooms, cuts, transitions and B-roll where appropriate
● Sound effects and music that actually improve the edit rather than overcrowding it
● Ability to follow a reference/example closely
● Comfortable working with talking-head and UGC-style content
● Fast turnaround times
● Good communication
● Most importantly: reliability

There will potentially be a high volume of videos, so I need editors who can handle consistent work without the quality dropping.

I’m not looking for someone who disappears after two edits or regularly misses deadlines. I want to build a long-term working relationship with editors who communicate well and can become familiar with the style of content I produce.

Potential workload:

The volume can vary, but there is scope for multiple videos per week and potentially daily editing work for the right person.

If things work well, I’d rather continue working with the same editor(s) long term instead of constantly hiring new people.

To apply, please DM me with:

  1. A link to your portfolio
  2. Examples of your best short-form edits
  3. Your rate per video
  4. Any discounted rates you offer for bulk/high-volume work
  5. Your typical turnaround time
  6. How many videos you can realistically edit per week
  7. Your timezone/location
  8. What editing software you use

Please don’t just DM me saying “interested.”

Send your portfolio and rates in your first message so I can properly review your work.

I’m happy to work with editors from anywhere in the world. What matters most to me is quality, communication (must speak English) consistency and reliability.

If your style fits what I’m looking for, there’s a genuine opportunity for regular, long-term editing work.

DM me your portfolio + rates if interested.

- Smoothen out the audio voiceover. (Clear out any dead space, remove any deep breaths, etc.)

- Smooth transitions

- making the video investigative, cinematic, but not too corny

Please note:

Looking for video editor

I’m a CS student from India and I recently launched EvolveX (https://evolvexapp.com), a gamified self-improvement app.

I’m looking for 1–2 video editors who want to collaborate and grow with the project from an early stage.

I want to be completely transparent: I can’t offer payment right now. This is an early-stage startup, and I’ve spent my budget on hosting, domain, and infrastructure. What I can offer is:

  • creative freedom,
  • a strong portfolio project,
  • public credit,
  • and paid work later if the project starts generating revenue.

I’m specifically looking for someone who enjoys editing high-retention Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts with motion graphics, subtitles, sound design, and cinematic or gaming-style pacing.

If you’re interested in building something from the ground up, comment or DM me with your portfolio.

Seeking Gaming Editors

Hey all, I work for a post company. We have a major creator client and we’re recruiting editors for a Roblox gaming channel.

Style is similar to Foltyn vids. 3-day turnarounds, plenty of future work for reliable editors.

Editors need to have real gaming edit experience. We have a paid test edit, and if that goes well we’ll link you up with a full vid.

Budget depends on quality of vids, but aiming for ballpark $400-500 per edit.

Message me, and let’s talk.

FREE VIDEO EDITOR

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST FIRST.

Will edit first three videos for free for videos NOT gaming related.

Why?

I'm only 2 months into video editing and I only have experience editing gaming videos for a small youtuber. I want to expand my portfolio (no proper portfolio yet)

Looking to edit for the following categories:

-Vlogs

-Podcasts

-Reviews/Reactions

-Art/Crafting/DIY/Cooking.

I'm open to other varieties as well, just ask.

I'm comfortable with long-form videos, but I also want to get experience with short-forms.

First three videos (per person) will be FREE.

NO CHARGE

NO UP FRONTS

$0.00/hr

As long as you're not a dick to work with and don't have a habit of ghosting people, we'll get along.

If you're still interested, you can DM me here or on discord (Jsketchie).

Thank you and I hope to work with you soon.

I built an edgy, "anti-boring" site for my digital agency (thepopularcompany.com). Does the bold design work, or does it hurt the UX?

Hey everyone,

I run a digital marketing agency out of Udaipur, India called The Popular Company (TPC), and we just revamped our website:thepopularcompany.com

We wanted to move away from the sterile, boring corporate agency look and go for something much bolder ("We make brands popular," scrolling marquees, dark mode vibes).

I'd love your brutal, honest feedback on the UI/UX:

  1. The "TPC Labs" section: Near the bottom, we built a "Top Secret" area styled like a casino for creators. Is this a fun Easter egg that adds personality, or is it distracting/confusing?
  2. Copywriting Tone: We use aggressive phrasing like getting a "brutal, precision CRO teardown." Does this come across as confident, or is it trying too hard?
  3. Performance/Mobile: Do the scroll effects and animations feel smooth on your device, or are they getting in the way of readability?

Don't hold back. If something looks chaotic or breaks your user experience, please let me know!
