Sorry guys I may have killed him without knowing who he was :(

First playthrough I pulled up in Nipton to find it legion occupied, killed all the powder gangers because I hate them and went after the legion guys after they ran off to the mountains. I was low level at the time, still sniping with a varmint rifle, so I tailed them and picked off the soldiers one by one because direct combat would be the end of me. Looted my first cowboy repeater off of one actually.

I don't remember exactly because every legionnaire I kill is just another dead piece of shit I don't need to deal with anymore, but I may have killed him in Nipton. Sorry.
