Made this for a friend for his release of decks

got this VX2100 for 250$ of off facebook marketplace. he didn’t test it but it came with extra batteries and tapes. decided to pull the trigger and go ahead and get it. if not for a film camera then as a collectors item. got one of the batteries to work on it before i could order my own. loaded it up and the image is pink. everything works on it, zoom, focus, recording, playback… however i did some research and i think the green CCD sensor is having trouble. if the image is showing pink then the red and blue sensors must be working… anyone know anyway to fix this? or should i take it into a professional repair shop. let me know what it’s worth to do with it.

How much of a hassle is it to replace the LCD screen on a vx2100? I want to start using tapes instead of the cheap tapeless setup I’m using atm, but I like having the screen so I know where I’m pointing it

I picked up a VX1000 for 130 AUD off of buyee.jp and ended up paying just over 400 AUD total because of shipping, it was an eight kilo package. It came with the hardcase, the camera and most of the factory accessories. The camera powers up, focuses, zooms, outputs to tv but the tape deck seems to be a lost cause. The tape deck ejects and closes just fine but whenever I put a tape in there, it makes a VERY faint clicking noise and then beeps with the eject symbol flashing, and I haven't been able to fix it. I have a Mini DVR but I don't want to produce videos with such a shitty capture method, and I'm too broke for an MRC1K. Any advice and if its worth fixing?
