Starting BSCNE - AWS in two days

Very excited to start. I currently work at Amazon, took advantage of their Career Choice program and have two years of experience prior as a field service technician and special projects hardware auditing from a local IT company, I'm hoping to land a role at Amazon after graduation.

My experience is mostly with physical Cisco LANs/WANs and troubleshooting with 20 labs hours from Netacad and Packet Tracer, but I wanted to expand my knowledge beyond physical networking. Cloud Networking piqued my interest shortly after obtaining my associates in Network Systems Management.

My ultimate goal is to build on the networking fundamentals with cloud architecture while maintaining an aggressive security posture. Sec+ I think I can knock out easily.

Any advice is welcome!

E026

Heyyy!

Does anyone have advice, tips, or a writeup on this class? This is all very confusing to me. I’ve done plenty of PAs but man… this one has me lost. Any advice would be appreciated.

Happy Monday!

Progress

Started the Cisco track at WGU on March 1st and so far I’ve completed 4 classes (15 credits), with one of those being my CCNA. I’m about to start my second “extra” class for my first term.

Just wanted to see how everyone else is doing if y’all also started in March, or how your progress has gone so far in the program. Curious to hear how fast everyone’s moving and what classes have been the toughest/easiest for y’all.
