WWYTH? Small private pond.

Small private pond. Fished here as a kid and didn't even know it still had fish. I'm told there are some bass but got skunked today.

First bass?

I’m going fishing tomorrow at hempstead lake NY. i’ve caught a 20-40 bass but my brother in law has only caught b luegill. I’m not very confident in bass i usually get skunked only sometimes catch. What should we throw there and where?
