Recommendations for documentaries about the roles women played in WWII?
I'm not talking about them working in factories. I'm referring to other things they did like work in intelligence, driving ambulances, transporting planes, resistance work, stuff like that. I've even seen footage of squadrons of women carrying rifles in one WWII documentary. Historical fiction is my favorite book genre so I've read a lot about things women did, but I would love to see a documentary about it. My husband watches so many WWII documentaries, but suggestions about women in WWII never come up.
