Hello all, I recently read ‘Soft Fruit in the Sun’ by Oliver Zarandi and I loved it! It’s been called ‘tender body horror’ and I’d probably describe it as poetic, darkly-comic, emotive mini stories.

I haven’t read anything like it, does anyone have any recommendations for anything similar? Whether they are short or longer form. I’ve read a lot of thrillers and I like a lot of Palahniuk but I suppose I’m looking something like if Dylan Thomas wrote a body horror..? Something that makes me feel disgusted, amused and haunted all at the same time?!
