Plans to develop on Goring Gap submitted again - Public Comments open until Wed 15th July

The same developer who submitted plans in 2024 to develop on the small bit of non-agricultural land at the south east corner of Goring Gap has submitted new plans.

It appears to be a mini amusement part, of sorts, with a car park, sandpit, shipping containers for a cafe, and "animals for entertainment".

This developer has tried before with a more expansive scheme and has ignored previous rejections by digging up the land, so it's likely if this is approved they'd go further and push the boundaries of what's allowed to make some more money.

The public and comment on the application until Wednesday 15th July.

What are these flowers growing along the Adur called?

They're quite tall, close to the height of an adult woman, and are growing on the banks of the Adur near Shoreham. Ta in advance!
