A recent Goldstream Gazette letter to the editor notes:

Wondering in Langford if there is any interest in opening a retro blockbuster style (not chain ) video rental store . Real old school feel with plenty of options for rentals on games , movies and more . Asking for input on if it's worth the thought or not even . With so many options these days?
Anyone see the success of Granville street pedestrian zone (so much so, consideration for keeping it after the World Cup) and wonder if Goldstream Ave could do something similar? Or is this thought out in left field, lol?
