An Inquiry regarding storage on the WiiU.

So I'm new to WiiU modding (i just bought an already modded one cheap off ebay) but I'm not new to modding/emulation/etc. as a whole. I've been watching youtube videos by
"Below Average Gaming", and noticed him saying that your gonna want an SD card, a hard drive for wiiU games etc. But then says you cant do wiiU and wii/GC on the same hard drive. I saw another video by "Bytes N Bits" saying that you can do this with ISFShax.

So I would like to know...WHY. Why to all of this. I have 512GB v30 SD cards, are those good? I have a 2TB WD Elements hard drive, is that good? Should I use micro SD cards? is there a reason why I cant have it all on one big SD card? is the HDD set up the best setup? Is it better to store NES SNES N64 GC WII on the SD card or Hard drive? Ive already got all the WIIU games i want and its only 212GB, but I have an EXTENSIVE Nintendo catalog of NES/SNES/N64/GC/WII library that is easily 1TB

Essentially I guess I'm asking for a lesson on this.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Is it bricked?

I tried following the aura tutorial and dumped my files. When I put the ed card into my pc nothing was there and now my console and controller won't go past this screen. Ive tried booting with and without the sd card and nothing works

DELTARUNE and UNDERTALE running on a Wii U (Cinnamon)

Hello all! My name is Casriel and I am working on a project called “Project Sunshine,” a project that aims to port all of UNDERTALE, DELTARUNE, and maybe more games to consoles like the 3DS, Wii U, and GameCube!

Me and a few other people are currently working on DELTARUNE Wii U, and we have got all 4 chapters working ALMOST in their entirety!

Chapter 1 is able to be completed from start to finish with minor bugs. As of 05/11/26, it is still in development, but we plan to release it soon!!! :3

This is possible using our open source project called Cinnamon which is a GML runner in C for the 3DS, Wii U, and (maybe soon) GameCube, which basically “emulates” GameMaker games.

We have also been focused on our UNDERTALE Wii U port, which has been released on both our GitHub and Discord, and is completely playable on all 3 routes with minor bugs!

We hope that all you Wii U lovers come and join us!!

MY IDEA WORKED !

In my previous post on r/WiiUPiracyREVIVED i asked if it was possible to run tomodatchi life living the dream on a Wii U and it seem like it wasn't a good idea so i went to try myself and holy moly was that a good idea

I had to reconfigure moonlight and sunshine and do so tweaking with the gamepad input mapping but it work (with a bit of lag but its mostly from my pc itself)

Honestly if you have a hacked Wii U and a strong pc with riujinx canary , go for it , even if its not practical its so fun to do !

Hear me out

You know about moonlight/sunshine to put your pc on a Wii U already (i hope so) and you probably heard about the new nintendo game , tomodatchi life living the dream, you see where im going.

If you have a powerful enough pc you can "run" tomodatchi life on your pc , then stream it on your Wii U and USE the Wii U as the controller by changing the controls to fit the imput and then youd get the perfect gaming experience of the decade !

(I dont have a good pc but i might try , if anyone know or tryed already , let me know!)

does anybody have an alternative to nusspli that looks and behaves like the original nintendo eShop?

I saw something about reeshop a while ago but i can join their discord so i think it got discontinued so idk if anyone else has revival
