Guys I urgently want Welingkar mumbai hostel fee structure we get while filling the hostel form. I didn't know that it would be required so I didn't take any screenshot at the time of filling the form 😭, and now the bank is saying they want it to issue the full amount needed. This was given in the admission letter. Can we wear straight fit jeans of black n light blue color? Also for formal attire, can we have striped shirts? I do not have a white shirt. I have plain green, white striped, plain pink and light brown. I do have black trousers and a suit.
What about slippers? Normal sandals are allowed? Or are only shoes and sneakers allowed?
Saw this reel about XIM University's, MMS BF Program, Where almost 50-60% of the batch is unplaced and only two were placed and they posted it on Linkedin due to which there was a backlash from their own students. Is this really happening at xim? Because as far as i know there is a lot of politics there even at UG levels, so no doubt this must be happening for the MMS-BF and even for HRM and BM Program too to some extent. Also I've seen students claiming about the bad and humiliating behaviour of the professors during GD PI calls. I think the ground reality must be known and the situation needs to be controlled as it is very important.

Does anyone here know when the classes might start for the upcoming PGDM batch, or has anyone tried asking them? They didn't give me a definitive answer on mail for this
I'm choosing XIMB BM over IIM Nagpur, Vizag, Sirmaur, Sambalpur, and Amritsar. Not paying the convertable waitlist fee for Jammu and Bodhgaya as well. These were my choices. (Not much hopes from IIT Roorkee)
Please let me know if my choice makes sense.

Didn’t get admission in any of these colleges - IMI D didn’t even waitlist, Got no response from IMT G after the interview, GLIM C waitlisted, GIM waitlisted at a big number.
I quit my job to prepare and have a gap year now. All I asked God was for one convert. My interviews went decent. Looks like my MBA dream is shattered. I can’t afford to appear again. This entire process seems so difficult and I can’t go through that mental stress again.
Is there any chance of still getting a convert? Or is this the end of MBA journey for me?

Second-I had prepared 3 years for upsc in those 3 years I also did my masters from ignou so will that degree save 2 years of gap?
Third- my job is shit, I've resigned from the same, can anyone help me get any lead for wfh jobs? I am currently in the banking sector. Pay is not an issue here I just need it for experience and to avoid gap.
Fourthly-There is a 6 in my profile how harshly will it affect my chances if I get a good percentile.?
PS: Attempted cat/xat this year with little prep could not convert anything I wanted to join

IIFT - Currently not in the merit list or waiting list means outright rejection, right? And an external waitlist is people placed on the waitlist for all campuses? and post outright rejection in round 1 - there are no chances that round 2 or 3 would be hopeful :( - please help me understand
i scored 92 and 80 in xat and cat respectively. studied diligently for 6 months, wasn't working or in college. in interviews i barely scaped through. got waitlisted at ximb (now 44) and xlri (600+ not convertible) my interviews were also not great i had no hope. got a job as backup, pretty chill 9-5 weekends off, occasional travel. but im making 6lpa. with ximb i can expect to make somwehere around 15-18 lpa. (12-14 fixed). i checked extensively on linkedin and website etc, alumni seems to be in good companies, ik ill be able to make min of 1lpm. in hand.
my doubt is should i restart and take a risk. i really don't know if I'll be able to get better as i would have to scale from 80 to 95+ to in cat to make a significant difference and with xat i don't know if betting my entire hopes on xl is worth it. though i will be getting around 8-9 months of work ex in addition to prev (6 months)the role is good but long term i know i need to do an mba to scale further. i just have a bcom. profile 9/9/7.
should i risk another year prep or just join xim bm?
My WL number has moved from 126 to 37 for BM course. What are the chances of converting it?
I've talked with people from iim jammu and most of them has said for finance I might not get many opportunities
I also talked with people from glim gurgaon and they also said the same that finance domain have struggled this year.
For jammu I'm also concerned about safety and location... And gurgaon offer better location
Please help which one should I go with??
After speaking to a bunch of aspirants, I noticed a pattern:
People with 7/6/7 profiles targeting IIM A
95 percentile expectation but aiming for BLACKI
No clarity on how profile impacts calls

Currently working as a software engineer (~18 LPA CTC) and will have close to 2 years of work ex by the time MBA starts. Scored 97.3 in XAT this year. CAT didn’t go the way I wanted, but honestly I also don’t think I prepared in the serious/consistent way needed while managing a full-time job.
I’ve converted XLRI Delhi BM and I’m also waitlisted at 181 for XLRI Jamshedpur BM, but I’ve been really confused about whether to take Delhi or give CAT one final serious attempt.
A few things making this difficult:
At the same time, I genuinely feel I have more potential than my current CAT score reflects.
Would you take XL Delhi in this situation or retry once more? Looking for honest advice from people who know the MBA/job market well.
Can someone give an idea of how the waitlist moves. I moved from 145 to 44 now is this going to move further? If so by when?
I accepted a job offer last week and need to know if I can leave immediately or is there a chance there won't be any movement now?
Hello all,
Has everyone received the fee payment acknowledgement by now, since its already past May 9?? When i called them on Saturday, they did verbally acknowledge the payment and said the mail will be sent by next day but I am yet to receive any mail. I did get acknowledgement for the waitlist fee but still waiting for the seat confirmation fee..is this normal?
