I had Super until a week ago and I’m just now seeing the basic format has changed to this new Energy version. Who on earth decided this was a good thing? It makes me so angry that they’re basically forcing you to pay for Super or Max and I wanted to renew the subscription but now that I’m seeing this I definitely won’t.
The energy level doesn’t make sense as sometimes reduces super fast others very slow although I didn’t make any errors during exercises so I suppose it’s not because of that. Why on earth is that ?
This is a horrible and unnecessary idea. The lives were completely fine and you knew that error= less lives. Here it’s random and it can go from 10 to 2 in the middle of the exercise while sometimes you do two exercises and it barely budges and it makes no sense.
Also 25 hours for 25 energy which is gone in less than 2 exercises it ridiculous. It’s only going to make people more frustrated and use the app less and less.

I’m done with this app unless they fix this. It’s like they’ve gone full greedy corporate now and I’m not contributing to their pockets anymore.

But google search didn’t help as well. Does anybody know what Duolingo lite is and how much it costs in Europe? I don’t want to start the 7 days trial yet. Just downloaded it few days ago and testing it.

I still can't receive the World Cup event on Android but it's appearing on the Play Store and that widget.

Honestly, I would like to see that on Android because it's an event and it doesn't make any sense to be iOS only.

My Duolingo widget on my phone was indicating I hadn't done my lesson today, so I clicked it. I normally do a lesson or two first thing in the morning, but sometimes I forget. Oddly enough, there were only 5 energy points remaining. Even if I'd done some lessons in the morning, there ought to be more than 5 points. So I spent some gems on a refill and did a few lessons. Afterward, I checked my streak calendar and saw this. WTF?

why do i have a different june badge compared to the ones my friends have in the feed? or is that just an emoji? i'm so confused lol

How could it come up with the below translation when it even says what the verb is?

The sentence says, “I sleep in the mornings.” Now look at the meaning. Really?

I am not sure if this is something I did or a Duolingo update, but all the text seems to be huge? Like the speech bubble should be wider not taller. Does that make sense?
