Emerson is one of our longest residents, and he’s had zero interest. The chance of him making it out before his euthanasia date is so slim and it’s making me so sad. Emerson is a senior dog that clearly had a family and then was dumped. He’s in rough shape, has some lumps and bumps around his body, but he is so extremely resilient. Emerson doesn’t hold a grudge against people, he just loves everyone. Emerson is a big “scary” looking dog, but in reality he’s got a just as big heart. He’s never once been mean or scary. He literally just wants to be cuddled.

At 8 years old, he’d rather wear pajamas than act tough. SOCIAL w/ CALM DOGS in playgroup. He Didn’t engage when a dog went after him. With humans he is the softest, most affectionate giant lap baby. All he wants is cuddle time and he’s so happy just to get a few moments of love . Then the yard time is over, and he goes right back to waiting. He knows basic commands; Knows sit & gives

My story almost had a heartbreaking ending. After my shelter in Korea closed due to financial difficulties, I was one of the dogs scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, a wonderful rescue team stepped in and gave me a second chance at life. Now I’m hoping to find my forever family!

I’m a happy, social girl who loves meeting new people. I’ll happily greet strangers with a wagging tail and soak up all the belly rubs and scratches you have to offer. Everyone says my bright, sparkling eyes are one of my best features!

I get along wonderfully with other dogs and especially love wrestling with my doggy friends. I enjoy saying hello to new dogs too, even if I don’t always play with them. I have a moderate energy level, so I’m always up for an adventure but I’m just as happy to relax at home afterward.

I’m gentle on leash, stay close to my person, and have never shown aggression or resource guarding. I don’t have separation anxiety or an urge to escape. I sometimes bark when I want something, and I’m still learning to feel comfortable in my crate. I’m also working on my house training, so I’ll need a patient family to help me continue learning.

I survived one of South Korea’s devastating wildfires in 2025. When kind volunteers found me, I was tied to a pole inside an empty house.

Thankfully, I wasn’t hurt, and my owner later made the difficult decision to surrender me so I could have a chance at a better life.

Despite everything, I’m a happy, social, and affectionate boy. I love meeting new people, soaking up scratches and belly rubs, and cuddling whenever I can. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoy a good game of chase with my friends.

I’m still learning about life in a home since I’ve only known being tied up and living in a shelter. I’m food-motivated, curious, and have a playful, energetic side, but after some outdoor fun, I’m happy to relax and unwind. My life changed forever on October 16, 2024. I lived with my elderly owner and two other small dogs until one day, my owner suddenly collapsed and was taken to the hospital. In all the confusion, we escaped and wandered the streets. A kind woman brought us back home, but sadly, no one in the family wanted to care for us. We spent weeks confined to a room and forgotten. Soon after, my beloved owner passed away.

Thankfully, the kind woman never gave up on us. She found homes for my two doggy companions, but no one came for me. For over a year, I waited. Finally, she reached out to Best Buddy Jindo, and now I'm hoping my second chance is just around the corner.

I'm a gentle, affectionate girl with a soft heart and an incredibly silky black coat. I can seem a little shy when we first meet, but if you're kind and patient, I'll gladly accept pets. Once I trust you, I have a special way of showing my love—I look into your eyes and softly place my paw on your arm. My affection isn't loud or demanding. It's calm, mellow, and deeply comforting.

I get along wonderfully with other dogs. Sometimes I'm happy simply sharing space with my canine friends, and other times I enjoy a good wrestling session. I spent a month at a doggy daycare and absolutely loved playing with the other dogs there.

I haven't met an indoor cat yet. When I spot stray cats on walks, I get curious and may want to chase them, but it's fairly easy to redirect my attention.

I have a moderate-to-low energy level. I enjoy going for walks and exploring outdoors, but I'm equally happy to relax and unwind at home afterward. During walks, I like to walk a little ahead of my handler, though I don't pull much on the leash and follow guidance well. I'm also a confident and curious little adventurer who handles city life quite nicely.

I haven't shown any aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escape tendencies. I am fully housetrained, which makes settling into a new home much easier. I do bark when I hear noises outside, so a detached home would likely be the best fit for me. I'm also a little nervous about being placed into a crate, but once I'm inside, I settle down calmly.

I've experienced loss and uncertainty, but I've never stopped believing in people. All I want now is a family who will cherish my gentle nature and let me spend the rest of my days loving them quietly and wholeheartedly.

I was born to a mom who spent her life tied up as a guard dog at a factory. I was one of five puppies, but sadly, only three of us survived after two of my siblings passed away from distemper. Since then, I’ve been patiently waiting at a boarding facility for about a year, making lots of doggy friends along the way.

Everyone says I’m incredibly cute, and I definitely love being around people! I’m friendly with strangers, especially if they have treats. Once I get comfortable, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly for rubs. I’m playful and social with other dogs and love wrestling and running around with my friends. I can be a little intimidated by very large dogs, but I’m still eager to make new buddies.

I have a moderate-to-high energy level and would love an active family that can help me burn off my energy and continue learning about the world. I’m crate-trained, about 90% housetrained, and I haven’t shown any aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escape tendencies.

I do get severe carsickness right now, so car rides aren’t my favorite thing yet. I also pull a little on leash and am still getting used to busy urban environments, but I’m a smart, food-motivated boy who’s ready to learn.

I may have had a rough start, but I never lost my smile. After a shelter in Korea closed due to financial difficulties, 16 dogs, including me, were scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, a wonderful rescue team stepped in and saved us all. Now, I'm ready to begin my next adventure—finding my forever family!

People say I have the best smile, and I love spreading happy vibes wherever I go. I'm very friendly with people, though I can be a little shy when we first meet. If you're gentle and maybe have a treat or two, I'll warm up quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I'll happily roll over for belly rubs and show you my sweet, affectionate side.

I'm also good with other dogs. I enjoy meeting new canine friends and confidently walk up to say hello. I haven't quite figured out how to play with other dogs yet, but I'm curious and social and may discover the fun of playtime as I continue gaining confidence.

I haven't met any cats yet, so my compatibility with them is still unknown. I have a moderate energy level for a puppy. I love exploring the outdoors and am always curious about the world around me. After my adventures, I'm perfectly happy to relax and cuddle up at home. During walks, I pull on the leash a little, but I'm generally good at following my handler and enjoy taking in all the sights and smells around me.

I'm quite food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for me! I haven't shown any aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escape tendencies. I rarely bark and have an easygoing nature.

I'm currently about 50% housetrained, using both pee pads and going outdoors, and I'm making progress every day.

I'm looking for a loving family who will continue showing me the world, encourage my curiosity, and appreciate my cheerful spirit and heartwarming smile. In return, I promise plenty of happiness, companionship, and lots of belly-up cuddles.
