Are there any benefits to going from MAL to anilist?
Nothing wrong with MAL and its been working for me for years. Guess im just kinda shopping the competition. And I know its easy to just export my list

Like a lot of people here, I've watched so much anime that I got to the point where it was hard to find good new recommendations, and even harder to know whether I'd actually like them. Every time I finished a show I'd spend forever digging through Reddit for what to watch next and whether people thought I'd enjoy it. I even set up a text replacement so typing "wwr" would auto-append "worth watching reddit" to my Google searches.
I built AniMuse to do all of that for me. It connects to your AniList and:
It's basically the automated version of asking this sub "given my list, will I like X?" for any show, instantly.
Sharing in case it's useful to anyone with the same problem I had. Genuinely curious whether its verdicts line up with your own taste on shows you already know. That's the part I most want feedback on.
The app is free and includes all the AniList list management, browsing, and a limited number of daily picks. The unlimited For You feed and Taste Verdicts are the Pro features. There's a 3-day free trial if you just want to find something to watch, and I'm happy to hand out free Pro promo codes to anyone who leaves useful feedback. (Mods, if this isn't allowed, happy to take it down.)

A banner ad that covers up the entire menu button suddenly appeared on the mobile version of the website (Google browser). It makes it impossible to go to the home page, settings, etc. and the X button doesn’t work. I managed to get it to go away once and it just reappeared after a few seconds, but I can’t usually close it to begin with.
Same as title.
I'm a little confused about how the Total Anime stat is calculated.
My profile says my Total Anime is 400, but my completed list is 365 and my All list has 614 entries.
So what exactly counts toward the Total Anime stat?
Are anime with multiple seasons, like Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, counted as separate anime or as one?
Are movies, OVAs, specials, and shorts included?
Is it just me having this issue? Can't seem to pass this verification...
Looking for more people to follow on AniList (and hopefully get a follow back). Drop your profiles in the comments and I’ll check them out.

i am only asking this because i just casually mentioned that i torrent in a forum thread and someone replied saying that mentioning torrenting isn’t a good idea. are they just anti-piracy or is that just an unwritten rule?
edit: i didn’t link or mention any sites it was just discussing the difference in animation quality in a new season of anime
No matter how many I add it only counts one of the shows I have put in. I only started using this website 5 days ago but what is the point if it won’t even work.
I wanted to export my list from another anime site and it says that its incompatible, what do i need to do to fix this problem ?
