Gojo was Inspired by a Random Ninja in Naruto

For years, many fans assumed Gojo Satoru’s iconic blindfold was inspired by Kakashi from Naruto. But according to Gege Akutami, that’s not the case.

The Jujutsu Kaisen creator revealed that Gojo’s design was actually influenced by Tonbo Tobitake, a minor Konoha ninja from Naruto.

Gege even asked Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto about the character when they met, only for Kishimoto to respond:

“Did I have a character like that?”
