I didn’t break a rule tho?

So I was playing bunny trials, and came across this post, I chose the obviously bad option to be funny, and posted a comment along the lines of “AAAAAAAA-“ next thing I know I’m being told I broke a rule against threatening violence. I’m like “ok it was probably a mistake with the ai detection system” file an appeal, apparently no, screaming is threatening and encouraging violence, cool.

People bothering you on your lunch break are so rude

Today, I had a bit of a stressful first half of the day at work, with time-sensitive tasks, lots of distractions and a considerable mental load. I wanted to chill out a bit on my lunch break, respond to friends on messenger, maybe think about games for the upcoming improv meetup.

As I warm up the noodles and soak them in soy sauce...

There she appears.

She is a cleaning person who comes every second day and usually fills me with dread, because she's a very specific type of person, who seems completely socially unaware whether you can (or want to) chat at the moment, or if you are even making eye contact or avoiding it, and will just talk AT you, oftentimes repeating stories and phrases.

I experienced her telling a thing she found funny (her trashy neighbor getting roughed up), and when I didn't react how she expected me too, she just repeated it, like telling it again would somehow restart me, so I would find it funny or like I didn't hear or understand maybe. Yeah, I did and I did, still not funny.

It's usually about her family stuff and problems with kids, with her husband, with her supervisor, which would be to some extent a normal conversation topic, HOWEVER, most people seem to adhere to a different standard of what to tell close-to-strangers and for how long. I understand she wants to vent, but why wouldn't she rant about this to a relative, perhaps a cousin, a neighbor, literally anyone she is actual friends with and not random people working at the place she happens to clean for an hour, three times a week?

I am annoyed with this behavior in general, but today especially so, because as you can imagine I didn't get to relax on this lunch break or even eat in peace, because I ended up as a captive audience in the break room, listening to her latest husband&MIL drama, and had to finish my food quickly to get a chance to leave. So inconsiderate.

Constantly being bombarded by ads disguised as “I had a problem… then AI magically fixed it.”

Constantly being bombarded by ads disguised as “I had a problem… then AI magically fixed it.”

“My wife applied to 85 jobs.

0 replies.

Then I uploaded her resume to AI.

Now she’s drowning in interviews.”

Every reel follows the same script:

* Start with pain

* Add a relatable failure

* Introduce one “simple trick”

* End with unbelievable success

* Slide 2: “Here are the prompts”

* Slide 3: “Comment ‘guide’ and I’ll send it”

It’s not advice anymore. It’s just modern infomercials wearing a hoodie and pretending to be your friend.

And the wild part?

They work because they’re built like personal stories instead of ads.

You don’t feel marketed to.

You feel like someone “accidentally” revealed a life hack.

Now every app feels like:

* fake productivity gurus

* AI overnight-success stories

* “I automated my entire business”

* “This one prompt changed my life”

* “Nobody talks about this…”

Meanwhile half the internet is just people repackaging obvious advice with dramatic storytelling and Canva screenshots.

I miss when ads at least admitted they were ads.

Why are Reddit moderators inconsistant?

So, I'm a redditor on a group called LeavingNeverlandHBO right? Their have been countless posts talking about Michael defenders, and the way they act. Today I posted one and I wanted to express how I felt, it felt like I was being singled out because why remove my post over a pointless complaint? I haven't broken any of the rules either so, why? And after a few hours later a similar post gets posted, and it gets accepted? You for real?

Streaming services shouldn't be allowed to offer partial access to complete franchises.

Stop giving me one or two movies from a trilogy. Don't bother letting me watch the first two seasons of a show if you're going to leave me hanging until you get rights to air the third season. Knock it off. Why would anyone in their right mind only want parts 1,2,4, and 6???

I'M NOT GOING TO SUBSCRIBE IF YOUR CATALOG IS FULL OF HOLES, JUST LET ME BINGE WITHOUT FORCING ME TO RENT THE REST OF THE STORYLINE

(edited to correct ranting about the wrong hole)

People ask questions that have been answered in the post or bio.

Stop asking people things about themselves that have been answered already in their post or bio.

Stop asking people “what are you looking for?” when they clearly stated what they are looking for in a relationship in their post or bio.

Why do people expect different information in messages than what was already provided???

Reddit is pissing me off rn

I just tried to post in five different subreddits right? But then i need a minimum karma. Well how the fuck am i meant to get posting karma if nowhere wants to let me post like im actually losing my mind. Im sorry im not on 24/7 and only post when i have something to share or say, my badddd. I try not to be too negative but it just annoyed me sm i wanted to get it out to feel better. It also annoys me to no end when they refuse to tell me what karma level i need like im sorry but your subreddit can not be that important that you have to gatekeep the age and karma i need to post stfu. Sorry about the swearing and all im just worked up,, any tips on getting karma when reddit tries its best to not let you? (now if this post gets automodded for not having enough karma i might just give up and cry)

Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions and explanations, while i havent commented back i have read every comment and taken something from it. I am much less annoyed and appreciate you all:)

Wth is there to do in Michigan

Me and my buddy (both male) are looking for something out of our norm to do. We often go bowling or go see movies and what not but it hasn't been itching the itch lately. To do my best to not completely dox us, we live in the 616 area. We like the party scenes, and wouldnt mind testing the law, If anyone has ideas let me know.

I M(17) currently have my A Level Exams ongoing and have planned intense revision between sessions and parents forcing me to go out to eat.

As the title shows I currently have my IAL exams going on. Usually once a week (every Sunday), I order in something to eat such as a burger and a fries. I love the meal but place high importance cuz my moms food tastes like absolute garbage. I get that today is mothers day and my parents wan to go out, but they say I'm selfish as just because I get to eat something good, they dont and they want to go out. I told that we could all order in something as I dont wanna waste a lot of time due to the exams but Dad said I can eat moms food today and no eating from out for the forseeable future. You know the worst part? They expect me to get all A*. Mum cried calling me selfish and Dad says he cant believe I'm so self centered and only care about myself. Am I really in the wrong? This is so annoying!

UPDATE : MOM served me "pasta". I swear its 10000% worse than usual it so watery I could drink it, each time I take a mouth I literally feel like vomiting guys. I'm just so sick of this tbh. Why would you be so arrogant and vengeful with ur own kid? What can I do to tolerate this. Im sick of dealing with this toxic behaviour every single day. :(((((

Logo Waistbands

Pet peeve - how what used to be a cute brand since as Victoria’s Secret now has big thick logo waistbands on half their panties that makes them look like guys boxers (which the big logo waistbands on those are obnoxious too). Not everything has to be “sporty” or “extreme”. Some things can just look nice and calm.
