Hello dads of Reddit! My father passed away when I was young so need your opinions instead lol. I am house/dog sitting for my uncle (father figure) while he is on a cruise for his birthday. I want to do something nice for him. His BBQ is all mucked up. Would you be offended if someone deep cleaned your BBQ? Does it take away “seasoning”?

My aunt brought up the idea. But for his bday last year we had a surprise party for him and someone else bbqed ribs and he was very offended because they charred everything 😭 so now I’m nervous of messing it up! I would only use dawn power spray
