abc.net.auOfficial Parliamentary Petition EN10411 is now LIVE to fund a sovereign Australian crewed space program. Let's back our engineers and tech sector!
Hey everyone,
My official House of Representatives e-petition just got certified and went live today.
Right now, Australia is heavily missing out on the high-value R&D that comes with a sovereign crewed space program. We train incredible aerospace talent and engineers at our universities, only to tell them they have to pack their bags for the US or Europe and switch flags to advance their careers. [1, 2]
Petition EN10411 asks the House to establish permanent funding for a sovereign human spaceflight program. This isn't about launching random rockets; it's about buying seats on international flights so our own tech companies and universities can deploy and test Australian-made hardware, medical gear, and robotics in orbit. [1]
Every dollar spent on this program stays on the ground right here in Australia, paying the wages of local technicians, software developers, and advanced manufacturers.
If you are an Australian citizen or resident, please take 30 seconds to sign the official parliamentary link below. We have 29 days left to gather signatures before the Minister for Industry and Science is legally forced to issue a formal response.

Let's keep our best tech minds at home and get Australia on the field!
