Curtain bangs, yay or nay?

Last photo is the last haircut I had with longer face framing pieces. I have a cowlick too -at least I did when I was a kid. That was the only time I got bangs and they didn't cooperate.

Post swimming bangs, im doing okay.

So i was worried because I had a girls day at a pool planned and I cannot recall out of any time that ive had bangs, that I've gone swimming. Today was a first. I cut them myself. The take your girl to the pool sht is right if you care about bang precision.

My bangs got a bad trim :(

They are much wider than I am used to.. I haven’t had bangs for long but I loooooved them before… this is the first time I’ve had a trim that has left me feeling like what the heck did I do? My side pieces are just not doing it for me… am I being over critical of myself, is it as bad as I am seeing in the mirror? And realistically how hard is it to grow just the side pieces back out?

I swear everything thinks I accidentally cut my bangs too short but they're actually baby bangs

I got baby bangs and I loooove them. My friends my age (late 20s) say they look cute and a little alt. But most of the people I've seen at work have either said nothing or said something very neutral like "you got bangs." I do live in the South which is often five to ten years behind in fashion, and I work with a lot of people in their 40s or older. The most positive reactions I've gotten at work have been from 70 year old women lol

Anyway, I'm pretty sure they either don't like short bangs or think they were an accident and don't want to embarrass me. One person asked me "do you like them?" Which makes it so obvious she thinks they don't look good lol
