Sorry if this has been discussed. And I’m also new here. But someone please tell me there’s a better explanations than this

I understand why they might not say the names of the players who created the records. But to still list the records, like they’re important, but not give credit to who made them? It seems silly. At the very least, add the name and include an asterisk explaining why the record could be questionable. If the person who made said record is SO controversial, why is it a record to keep?

EDIT: typo in the title(sorry). But so MLB official records show this same thing? Or is it just MLB The Show 25?(yes, last years title lol)
