As an Arsenal fan, bwhere do people actually watch games with FULL atmosphere in Beijing these days?

Not “sports bar with one TV in the corner” energy.

I mean:

- packed for big matches

- proper football crowd

- people actually singing

- decent beer

- stays open for late kickoffs

- Arsenal fans preferred obviously 👀

Been away from the Beijing football scene too long after 10 years in London and need to know where the real matchday spots are now. Given how special today is to us all!!!!!

Self-study spots

Hey Friends, I am studying for the GRE and looking for places where I can self-study. I am based in Chaoyang and have an electric scooter.

Coffee shops are fine but I’m looking for something like a library (more desk space). I’ve seen several paid study spaces on Dianping but most of them look kinda depressing.

Any recs will be much appreciated :)

Ski resort or accommodation near nanshan ski resort

Hi there,

I’m planning to ski for 5 days 4 nights in nanshan ski resort.

The official nanshan ski resort does not have a link to book the hotel room for coming dec 2026.

https://www.nanshanski.com/zzns

Anyone here could advice website that I could book room either the ski resort ? Or accommodation near by?

I’m also trying to look for multiple day ski pass for cheaper price. Seems like they did not offer this option…?

Thanks in advance!

Running route near Wangfujing

I’ll be visiting in a few days and was wondering if there’s any good running route near Wangfujing in the morning? I saw some TikTok’s where people were stopped for passport checks, are we expected to carry our passport on runs? Thank you!

Beijing Wonton Soup Mystery

Hello, whenever I go to Beijing, I see this wonton soup chain. They also have those skewers and wonton soups. Their wonton soups are super. I saw them in chaoyang, also around Peking University, etc. Always crowded. Has a face of someone in the logo. Can someone please help me find the name of the chain?

Beer street

Aussies looking for a street with a bit of something going on I feel like Beijing is really quiet at night compared to other cities we’ve been too. Not sure if we’ve been looking in the wrong spot, but we really want to go to a street with a few bar options.Travelling with girls so cocktail bars/ good music also appreciated.

Lost camera in Beijing

Hi there!

(This is a LONG shot, but will try my luck)

After two amazing weeks in China, I got back home and realized I lost/left my camera in Beijing (it's the black one in the above image).
The camera itself is not expensive, but it contains some of the nicest moments I had in Beijing.

I have already contacted my hotel and also Didi so they could check with their drivers, but no luck.

Based on the photos I have, it happened somewhere between Saturday night (May 2nd) and Monday morning (May 4th).

Considering the places I've been to within that period, the possible locations are: Walmart in Xicheng District, Hefeng Xinyi Hotel (Jinsong Guangqumenwai), and Sanlitun.

Thanks in advance!

Magic the Gathering Beijing

Hey guys,

i‘ll be in Beijing soon. I‘ll stay there for a few weeks and I‘ll bring a commander deck with me.
I‘d love to connect with the local/expat magic scene in Beijing.

Does anyone know, if there are any places i should check out to get in touch with the local/expat scene and maybe also to buy my favourite cards as singles in chinese?

Thank you!
