Mic no longer registers voice with dots around dial

The white dots will increase if I turn the dial, but they used to go up when I spoke, to show the level. Even if I mute the mic, the white dots remain.

Blue yeti terrible quality in discord

I did add the same settings advised on youtube...

However the quality is awful, my friends cannot understand me clearly

(sometime restarting the microphone/discord) seems to solve partially the issue temporary
