Good night campers, Yoli, Dodde and I are waving from our own campsite! This means all Camp Chirpaway campers are getting a completely schedule free weekend. The morning buffect will be up as usual, and all our normal spaces will be avalible to hang out in, Yoli & Dodde just won't be around because I don't have a consistent connection out here.

Enjoy some chill-out time, get out and observe nature if you can, maybe try out making leaf rubbings if you can find a solid leaf!

Paisley is so tired after setting up the campsite today. She was proud to do it all by herself. She’s only been a baby birb for 13 days but she’s very excited to have made new friends and had so many exciting adventures.

Mizuki and Suzzi and Paisley thank all the counselors and campers for their excellent enthusiasm and high spirits. Yay! For Camp Chirpaway!

Good afternoon campers!

Camp Chirpaway has been open and full of campers for over a week now, and we think it’s time to write some letters back home. Maybe it’s your finchy parents, main person, siblings, or just a friend you want to share allllll about camp, now’s the time.

We’ve got paper & pencils, crayons, markers, and pencil crayons, plus plenty of stickers and washi tape. Doddle has envelopes and stickers for any camper who’s ready to mail one.

The night is drawing in, and it's time to get this campfire going! Yoli has brought extra marshmallows to share around, plus some thermoses to keep the chill at bay as the night gets cooler. Naturally, I've also got some teddy bears to join us for company, in black, brown, cream, or white.

This special campfire will truly be running over two nights.
Tonight, we’ll gather to roast marshmallows and tell stories of long-known Cryptids, like the Bigfoot every forest camp has. But we’re also going to create some of our own Cryptids that could live right here in the forest or water, just waiting to spot a curious camper

Tomorrow night, we’ll take those stories and make up some artwork so Yoli can make a field guide of Chirpaway Crypids to share.
(I’ll be throwing the stories/artwork together in a collage after a few days. Go crazy with it, fleshed out art if you’re feeling creative, stick creatures if that’s more your speed, or even stock art and some photoshopping fun. I want to see where your brain takes you in a world of anything can show up)
