Trip from Bagà - Recommendations

Hello!

I will be doing the Cavalls del Vent hike in late August finishing at a refuge close to the town of Bagà. Our last night on the trail is Aug 21. I fly out of Barcelona at 19:00h on Aug 24. So, I’m curious if anyone has recommendations for another location or activity I could undertake in my remaining time in Catalonia. I’m open to anything, as long as it is
- Reasonably accessible from Bagà via public transportation (I can take a taxi to another town like Berga if necessary)
- Reasonably accessible to Barcelona to return for my departure flight

Any suggestions? I am considering going somewhere in Andorra or I have heard that Monserrat is very beautiful. However, hitting the beach could be a nice way to end my vacation.

Thanks in advance!

need some advice from a fellow international student or anyone who can help!!

Hola everyone!!, I’m 23M from India and I recently got admitted to a robotics program at UdG in Girona. Really excited about moving to Spain and especially about the program itself and the underwater robotics research happening at UdG, but at the same time trying to figure out all the practical stuff before coming there....

I’m mainly looking for people who already went through the apostille/legalisation and sworn translation process for enrolment documents, and also how difficult it is to find accommodation or student dorms in Girona.

I also know absolutely zero Spanish or Catalan right now... so I’m confused whether I should start learning Spanish first or Catalan since Girona is in Catalonia.

Would really appreciate any advice about moving there, visa process, accommodation, things I should carry back frm my home country, or honestly anything that could help :)

Help with upcoming trip to Catalonia?

We're planning a 6-night trip to Catalonia in mid-June for our family of 3, including my teenage son. Right now I have a hotel/Mas booked for 2 nights near Figueres and another hotel booked for 2 nights near Begur. I have 2 nights yet to book - is there another town or location I should not miss for a first time visit to Catalonia? Girona/Cadaques/somewhere else? We will be renting a car.

We will have already spent a few days prior in Barcelona. Our son also wants to tour Montserrat either while we're in Barcelona, or on our way to Figueres.

We like history, architecture, good views and food. Any suggestions for a good Mas or hotel would be much appreciated!

Taxi from Barcelona airport?

Hello, we are a family of 4 spending a week near Torredembarra. We fly into Barcelona airport. Will it be easy to get a (large) taxi from the airport to Torredembarra area? What would be the approx cost? We have 2 very young children so reluctant to wing it as I would have done in the past, and too much luggage for public transport.

I know car rental is also a possibility but trying to weigh the pros and cons as we don't expect to drive much once there.

Thanks!
