Banned Book Club - Thursday Evenings on Discord

Banning a book removes the book from the shelves, but it also silences the author’s voice. And, in doing so, it often silences the viewpoints and cultures of already marginalized groups. ​

To confront this, My Flying University is launching a (free) Banned Book Club for folks who would like to read and discuss commonly banned books and the "dangerous" ideas inside them. All adults welcome.

Literally just caught nbc deleting an entire video on tiktok exposing the screwworm outbreak in the states

Kind of an insane to stumble across literal censorship of another country (I’m Canadian)
