[FOR HIRE] Web Designer Looking to Collaborate With Graphic Designers

Hey everyone,

I run InfaWeb, a small web design business based in Ontario. I started it this summer through Ontario’s Summer Company Program and I'm looking to connect with graphic designers who have clients needing websites.

If you handle branding, logos, or other design work but don't build websites yourself, I'd be interested in collaborating or exchanging referrals.

I build custom, mobile-friendly websites for small businesses and can work with an existing brand identity or designs you've already created.

I'm also happy to refer clients who need dedicated branding or graphic design work.

Portfolio: https://www.infawebdesign.com/

Feel free to DM me if you'd be interested in working together.

Looking for earn money for cat's surgery

Hello Chatham-Kent.

I am unemployed and my cat needs dental surgery ASAP. I have some grants but I still need to raise about $1,500.

I am an experienced Library Technician, I can help you organize ANYTHING.

I am a great cook, I can teach you to follow a recipe. I have a TON of patience.

I actually babysit and cat sit too. I have over 10 years experience babysitting children from ages 7 weeks to 16 years old. The 16 year old was autistic. I have first aid, CPR, infant CPR, a vulnerable persons police clearance, references and a reliable car. I am over 40 years old. I won't be distracted by homework, I won't invite friends or a boyfriend over, I am there to care for your children. I actually have toys I bring with me. I bring balloons and Pin the Tail on the donkey. I will be buying corn hole and magnetic fishing in the coming months.

I have owned cats for over 45 years. I currently own 3 cats and they are trained like dogs. I can only dog sit if the dogs are small.

Sorry, I'm not much of a housekeeper so I can't clean your house but I'm willing to do projects.

Thank you so much for reading this.

Chatham-Kent Mayoral Race Aug 17th 2026 - What are they actually talking about?

The strongest common theme is not ideological. It is municipal performance.

Lauren Anderson is positioning around collaborative leadership, infrastructure and community engagement. Her published profile emphasizes Wheatley recovery, Talbot Trail, relationships with other levels of government and multidisciplinary decision-making. CKXS FM

Michael Bondy's campaign is much more explicitly fiscal. His platform proposes a return-on-investment test for major projects, infrastructure prioritization, rural community councils, small-business growth and a tougher approach toward public disorder, addiction and homelessness. Bondy For Mayor

Darrin Canniff is running largely on the incumbent-growth argument: population growth, economic development, infrastructure investment, housing development, government relationships and fiscal improvement. His campaign material claims population growth of 8.1% during his mayoralty and approximately $100 million in municipal debt reduction. CKXS FM

Ryan Gow is positioning as the operational outsider. His published platform emphasizes fiscal discipline, infrastructure renewal, economic growth, private-sector management principles and public engagement before major decisions. CKXS FM

Nelson Burm emphasizes roads, taxes, healthcare, homelessness, addiction, jobs, community prosperity and a business-oriented approach. His current material is considerably more directional than operational, meaning we have objectives but few measurable implementation mechanisms yet. CKXS FM

Randy Hope currently presents the strongest résumé narrative but the weakest accessible 2026 policy specification among the material reviewed. His candidate profile primarily discusses his previous 12 years as mayor, provincial political experience, labour experience and municipal/provincial organizations. Website not currently available.

Early public-issue signal

These scores are directional social-discourse indicators, not polling. The dataset is still too small and platform-skewed for stronger claims.

Issue Sentiment Polarization Momentum Confidence
Homelessness / encampments / addiction -4.3 5/5 +2 B
Taxes / municipal spending -3.4 4/5 +2 B
Roads / infrastructure -3.0 3/5 +1 B
Governance / transparency -2.7 4/5 +2 C
Economic development / jobs +0.4 2/5 +1 C
Rural representation -2.1 3/5 +1 C
Housing availability -3.3 3/5 +1 C
Technology / digital government ~0 1/5 0 D

Friends !

Hey everyone! I’m 27m originally from Windsor but moved to Chatham for work and I’m looking to meet some new people and make some friends around here. I’m pretty laid back and always down to do something. I like working out, being outdoors, grabbing food, going for drinks, checking out new places, and just hanging out and having a good time.
I don’t really know many people in Chatham yet, so figured I’d give this a shot! If anyone’s in the same boat or just looking to meet some new people, feel free to message me 😊

Stay Away from Legacy Excavation Inc.

Employees unpaid. Developers owed money. A kid with a big dream that can’t hit reality.

He’s a con artist, and he does not give a damn about anyone but himself.

So stay away from him or you’ll be in the same hole like a lot of other people.

Women's gym or section

Hi everyone,

I will be moving to Chatham soon, and I currently have a Goodlife membership that I was hoping I wouldn't have to give up because I have a good rate, but I see that Chatham does not have any Goodlife locations 😞 I have always used gyms that either are women only or have women only sections. However, I don't see something similar in chatham? Does anyone know if there is a gym that has a women's section in Chatham?

Erieau dead fish

Was just at the beach and there was about four dead fish (big fish probably 10lbs)
then a few fresh skeletons on the sand.

Maybe this is a very stupid question but is there a reason for all the dead fish? Again I know nothing about fish or anything so this could be incredibly simple and I’d have no clue.

Wallaceburg District Secondary School addresses dog waste on back campus

Oh come on people... and I'm sure it's not just around here.

https://sydenhamcurrent.ca/2026/08/08/wallaceburg-district-secondary-school-addresses-dog-waste-on-back-campus/ for the gross picture too

>"The school says it placed “No Dogs Allowed” signs around the back campus over the past year after staff found themselves consistently cleaning up an overwhelming amount of waste left behind. The space is used daily by Grades 7 to 12 students for sports, physical education classes, recess, lunch and school events.

>“It is unfair and unsafe for our students to train and play in conditions where uncollected waste ruins their uniforms and equipment, while also impacting their school experiences,” the school said.

>The school said waste bags have since been tied to its fence, and it is sharing the update to explain why the signs were put up, in hopes the community can work together to stop the problem. The school thanked those who respect the space and support its students and campus."

So the school tried to stop the rampant dog poop everywhere because kids were constantly slipping and falling on/in it and now hosers are tying their poop bags to the fence. For what? In protest of them being too lazy to pick up their dog's crap?
