How’s the mix on this? On our EP in an attempt to bring up the low end a bit the tracks got a bit muddy and also the 808s clipped way too much
Afraid I may have overcorrected a bit
Using a reference track for some reason isn’t translating to after the tracks are rendered then with the phone/car/headphone test which is why it wasn’t caught with the EP

"The Blood of the Lamb" ends with Psalm 23 building from quiet spoken word into a full breakdown. That moment is what the whole project is about.

Ive been feeling led to get back to jamming again, i havent played in a serious band in probably 20 years (aside from being on worship team at our church)
Back story on me is im a 46 year old husband and father of 4, grew up in the ny/nj hardcore scene and played guitar in a few bands back then. Since coming to faith 12 years ago i seriously struggled with music in general because most of the bands i grew up with were not good spiritually. The past few years i have finally discovered some great christian hardcore/metalcore bands and have been really feeling led to get back into doing that again - mostly because i was so lost in my 20s and feel god could use me to bring other lost people to faith through this music.
That being said, i dont have a ton of free time, so this would probably be a once in a while type thing and see where it goes. Is there anyone in the charlotte/mecklenburg county area? If so hit me up.
