Fired for being flashed in Sun Valley?

Meanwhile at the Curaleaf in Sun Valley, a former employee who sent this video alleges she was fired with others after complaining about this repeat offending customer who was never banned from store. "I’m sharing this video because I no longer feel like my voice has been heard... After I raised concerns with HR, I experienced what I believe was retaliation. Instead of feeling supported, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. After extreme gaslighting and retaliation, I no longer felt safe working for the company.... Employees deserve to feel safe at work and to be able to report serious incidents without fearing retaliation. Speaking up about what happens at work should never cost someone their job.“

Johnstown Ohio Cultivation and production site

I am writing to express my absolute outrage at the appalling conduct displayed by Curaleaf in Johnstown, Ohio. As of Friday, 8/7, the company abruptly terminated the entire production team, the inventory team, and even our facility manager—without warning, without transparency, and without a shred of professionalism.

During the transition to a larger facility, employees were repeatedly promised clear communication and honest updates. Instead, on 8/5, we were blindsided with the news that the production team would be terminated by the end of the week. Curaleaf had explicitly promised a two‑week notice. What we received instead was a cold, dismissive, and deeply disrespectful meeting led by MIGUEL (upper management) and CAROL (HR).

Carol, the very person responsible for employee support and protection, openly mocked staff in the office and refused to respond to calls or emails. Even while physically present on site, she made no effort to speak with anyone or address concerns. Miguel offered no answers, no explanations, and no accountability. Both sat in silence, showing zero remorse for the livelihoods they were destroying.

To make matters worse, Curaleaf Ohio has been knowingly mislabeling and selling cannabis products under incorrect strain names and product categories. This includes flower, smalls, and shake being mislabeled as entirely different strains or sizes. They have admitted this is due to delays in state approval for product and brand IDs—yet instead of waiting for compliance, they chose to deceive patients and dispensaries.

Examples include:

  • Miracle Mintz packaged and sold as Cherry Burger
  • Garlic Cookies packaged and sold as Bubba Diagonal

This is only a fraction of the mislabeled products currently being sold across Ohio. Higher‑ups dismissed concerns with the statement: “Anything to sell the product faster.”

Curaleaf’s actions are unethical, irresponsible, and potentially illegal. Their treatment of employees and their disregard for product accuracy demonstrate a complete failure of leadership, compliance, and basic human decency.
