Looking for music similar to Mareux / Sidewalks and Skeletons / Molchat Doma
Hey,
I’m looking for recommendations for music similar to this kind of vibe:
Mareux
Sidewalks and Skeletons
Molchat Doma
Crystal Castles
Pastel Ghost
Moonvampire
Graur / Graurstar
I really like dark, atmospheric and melancholic electronic music with slow to mid-tempo beats.
If you know anything similar, I’d appreciate any recommendations.
Is this "darkwave?"
As I've stated before on here I draw upon many sonic influences when crafting but don't think too much about genre categorization. Lmk what you think...
I wondered what RATT's "Lay It Down" would sound like in a darkwave track
BlakLight - The Haunting of Us (Fictional Remix) [Dark Synthpop]
Los Angeles based dark synthpop trio BlakLight release 'The Haunting of Us (Fictional Remix)' on July 3rd.
What are some songs that aren’t darkwave (or even goth) but could totally work at a goth night?
i start with this one from the 80s
Nyra Vale
Bare with me on this. I have/had zero clue about this genre of music until a few days ago.
Stumbled across Unstoppable Darkness compilation on YouTube by Nyra Vale. Have not stopped listening since I found the compilation. My question is: is this AI, or is she a real artist? Not that it really matters, I’ll still listen, but Iam curious.
Four and a half hours of CLASSIC darkwave (The Cure, Depeche Mode, Sisters Of Mercy etc. - all the genre definers are there)

youtu.beNeoTokyoBoy- Witchcraft
Hi everyone! I don’t use AI in my music and I never will. Even though I’m into cyberpunk and sci-fi (kind of ironic, I know), I prefer to keep my music real.
I just wanted to share my track “Witchcraft” with you, made out of pure passion.
Hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening :)
Idk if this is darkwave but similar bands to tempers?
[Mix] I made 14 unofficial bootlegs pairing dark progressive electronic with Behemoth, Rotting Christ, Korn, Batushka, Dimmu Borgir, Unter Null, God Module and others. 3 hours. No tracklist.
Been building these for a while. The base tracks are dark progressive and zenonesque such ETN, Evil Oil Man, Grouch, Dirty Hippie, Akudra and others. Basically underground psychedelic trance at its most atmospheric and hypnotic.

The layers come from across extreme and dark music: Behemoth, Rotting Christ, Batushka, Cult of Fire, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth on the metal side and Unter Null, God Module from industrial/EBM. Also, the amazing cover of Another Brick In The Was by Korn, which is a personal favorite.

Each one was built individually, looking for the actual connection between the two worlds and ideal arrangement suitability, not just for the contrast. My hypothesis is that both are built in the same darkness, intensity, tension...

14 bootlegs assembled into a 3-hour set. 6 tracks run clean as
breathing room. No tracklist because the pairings are the work, I didn't want this to be a searchable playlist.

If you catch what's inside a track before you know what it is, that's the version I was going for.
