I finally managed to get this print back in my life..
For anyone who doesn't know, this Gare Barks painting was the original inspiration behind DotN tree concept.. When I spoke to Travis many years ago, we talked only about this painting.. It was a family piece that hung on my wall for my entire childhood and after my mother passed away, I was given this picture.. It was one of my most cherished pieces and sadly, I lost the original after a nasty divorce..
It had been plaguing my mind for years and recently, I was thinking about it nonstop.. Something told me to ask reddit if anyone had seen it in the area and, by some crazy miracle, a redditor had seen it a few weeks ago in a thrift store.. Another redditor went and bought it for me and gifted it and I am so grateful for the kindness of those strangers..
Anyway, I thought some people here might appreciate it..
