There just isn't enough work this month
I'm a single mom. There is no dad, no alimony, no child support, no help. I live within my means and most months I make it, although sometimes it's barely, I make it happen. This time of year is hardest. I'm a contractor, mostly a youth photographer and the season for it is not summer. I have some other hustles to fill in the gaps, but the work has unexpectedly dried up for the month and I don't know where the rest of the rent is coming from. I've got 2 weeks and I'm short by about $350.
But what really breaks my heart is it's my youngest daughter's 13th birthday in a week. Family have chipped in and bought her a cell phone. But I can't afford to put the minutes on it like I hoped and I can't afford her usual pizza and ice cream cake. I feel awful. She really doesn't ask for much. The pizza and cake has been tradition since I was a kid. And she's humble. She will understand and be gracious about it if I can't make it happen, but somehow that breaks my heart even harder. You only turn 13 once.
I can't afford to pay you back. I barely scrape by and I'm already in debt. But anything is so very much appreciated and I'm happy to edit a personal photo of yours as thanks.
I didn't see anything in the rules about what approved platforms are, so if this is not what you meant, please don't ban me. I can edit.
