If you had to buy a second car soon what would it be? Something you would “legitimately consider”.
Hey all,
I have been pondering my next possible car purchase and I am wondering if any of you are hunting for any cars at the moment? Or what car could be next in your life?
I currently drive a 2013 Audi S4 and my previous cars (3) have all been German. In an effort to gain new car experiences, I’ve been thinking of purchasing a second car in the 10-18K range sometime next spring. Here are some considerations: E36 328is, Miata, Bugeye WRX, C5 Corvette, or MR2. The cars are all over the place but those are just some I’m thinking about.
Let me know what cars have been on your mind and if you’re getting close to buying something in the future!

Did Doug start a little jump in his intro? Been going through the videos to see when the first jump was.
Dug through the older yt videos to see when the jump could have happened. If I'm right, it was the Lamborghini Gallardo video from October 2024.
Maybe I'm blind or maybe it's because i often have Doug's videos in the background while I do something else, but for some reason I never saw his little hop he does in the intro when he says "THIS"
Ryan Lopez
Does anyone else feel bad that they just don’t really like Ryan? When he first showed up I thought he would bring in a new perspective from a different type of enthusiast, but he’s just so bland. I feel like he is overcompensating for people assuming he’s younger, he almost has the pretentious level of Kennan, but without the same passion behind it. Yes Kennan has some rough takes, but you can’t deny that the man is passionate, Ryan just doesn’t quite have the same level of enthusiasm

Doug’s London Taxi video reminded me that I spent my childhood seeing a small fleet of these LTI cabs driving around Santa Fe, New Mexico painted in a bright purple livery for Hotel Santa Fe. I still see them clattering around town from time to time when I visit, and I saw a post that they were gifted a new (old) one in 2018 which is still painted black. Anyone know if these made it to any other weird corners of the US?
Edit: Sorry about “the New Mexico”, gotta check my titles before I post lol
