Reading Alot Of Bad Things About DD1 On PC

Is there any way to play a copy of just the original game as it was on Xbox 360, but on PC? Thinking of going on a bit of a nostalgia trip, but if the game's changed massively then I don't know if it'd be worth doing

Returning to DDA - How to get back to it?

Hey folks, I started playing when DDA just came out and took an interest to play again.

Where should I start considering that I do not have any of the new characters (After the EV).

All characters are lvl 100 with godly sets (Ranging from 3k-5k in the main stats).
What are the good rolls nowadays (It seems the max stat on gears is around the 1000 without upgrade)
Any recommended map to takle? Or new heros?

Anyone still playing DunDef1? Need teammates

Hopped back on recently haven’t played since 2014, reached a point where playing solo isn’t getting me anywhere. Anyone still play and have free time to teach me some of the ins and outs? A lot has changed since I last played

Which should i play? DD1, Awakened or Redux?

Hey everyone!

I haven't played Dungeon Defenders in a long time and I'm thinking about getting back into it. I'm currently trying to decide between Dungeon Defenders 1 and Dungeon Defenders: Awakened.

For those who have played both recently, which one do you think is more worth investing time into nowadays?

I've seen a lot of older opinions saying that DD1 is still clearly the better game because it has much more content, but I'm wondering if that's still the general consensus in 2026, or if Awakened has improved enough to make it the better choice for someone coming back to the series.

Also, would you recommend DD1 Redux over either of them?

DDA better than I remember

Haven't touched DDA in years. Despite all the online advice to stick to DD1, I didnt like the tower stacking meta and some other QoL features. Pleasantly surprised with DDA thus far! Just giving a shout after seeing all the negative feedback it has. This is for PC btw.

Can someone link me some DD1 YouTubers that don't Tower Stack please

Preferably still active. I just picked the game back up after so long and I'd like to look outside ddplanner when im struggling for once. Its hard to decipher where to go when i can do some missions on Ruthless but can't even do medium on others lol.

I don't care if other people do it, but Tower stacking is something i personally feel is cheating since its safer and allows more towers per buff beam dp.

Forgot what an absolute gem this game is man.

Tips for starting player?

DD2 on PS5

Just wondering where I can actually learn the game? Most videos on YouTube seem to be already in endgame.

I’m currently chaos 2 following quest and enjoying it so far

I bought the defender bundle so have every one available. The only thing I struggle with is bag/vault space and how to manage it

Any tips on anything is appreciated
