If I had to choose a season, I honestly think season 3 was the best one. But I've always been an Alex fan and disregarding that, I think he should have won in season 2! He was so helpful and had won every challenge he was part of fair and square! And he accepted his defeat in his final challenge that became his death. With Safiya the challenge twist got her! She was extremely helpful

I have a couple unpopular opinions wonder how it will go down with you guys

So, on the website Sortr, there are different things that you can sort to get a coherent Top 10 and lists. It is popular over in the Total Drama fandom and decided to do mine with Escape the Night.

So, thoughts on My Top 10 and my rankings??

Escape The Night has recently just ended its story by making all seasons into a time-loop, but it just didn't satisfy my horror needs, so I decided to make and write the origin story for the whole series!

This strays away from the usual formula (but keeps the one dies every challenge part :p) of having youtubers, I wrote it in hopes of creating a one-off that could let my imagination run loose! I've been with ETN since season 1, let me know what you think!

Book 1 Plot:

• What began as a 2014 urban exploration project by a group of friends and a historical researcher quickly turned into a nightmare. A catastrophic collapse sent a 1920s estate tumbling down, yet rather than dying, the group awoke unharmed inside the house, inexplicably dressed in 1920s period clothing.
• They were greeted by Anna, the very first owner’s daughter, who exposed to the group the estate's dark origins. It was built to house members of a nearby church who had all surrendered to vile sin. When a young sacristan overheard the committee members boasting of their misdeeds, he tried to run, but they silenced him by slaughtering him right at the church's altar. But the church was built on cursed ground; the resting place of a sleeping primordial god. Fed by their wickedness and the terror of the murdered boy, the ancient god awoke, unleashing the entity they now call ‘The Evil.’
• They planned to banish ‘The Evil’ by first facing each of the church leaders, but one death led to the next, and only three of them survived.
• One of the survivors then made it their life mission to try and mitigate the force that this house had, and they had to travel back in time, multiple times, through centuries and back to try and catch the evil as it used time to escape and cause harm.

I also was planning to connect it to the original story :), if you wanna see more, let me know, maybe you have your own headcanons we could add to the story! (also poster made by me AND NO I DID NOT USE AI LMFAO i edited it using canva -- credits to the artists who drew the assets <3)

I called it origins because I wanted the story to be how everything came to be, and I also wanted to create a story on how the SAE was first formed, and a more definite idea for what the 'Evil' may be!
