Yet another internet question

Looking at a place on Moore mountain. Seems that my internet options are Starlink or T-Mobile. I hate to give Apartheid Clyde any of my money, but even though T-Mobile says they service the location, my experience with automated systems in the past leaves me deeply distrustful.

Does anyone know what the T-Mobile service is like up there?

trolley payment question

I'm coming down for a solo trip in a few weeks, and my lodging is a ways away from the transit center, but near a trolley stop. Do I have to go to the transit center and pay before riding, or can I pay after being picked up at a stop? Just a little confused and really don't want to mess this up, thanks!

Mother daughter weekend

Hello. Husband here planning a trip for my wife (50) and daughter (17) to Eureka Springs for a weekend. Any advice? I know they want to go to Turpentine and see that. I saw some murder mystery things and was looking into those. Any recommendations on where to stay and what to do?

Recommendations for Eureka trip

I am trying to plan a bachelorette for my sister who likes quaint places with cute coffee shops/antique shops and scenic views. I was planning to come here, but now the issue is finding some “events.” I saw the Eureka Springs zip line which I’m thinking about, but I also saw there is a christian play called the great passion ? I was wondering if it’s any good. Additionally, I didn’t know if anyone had some must-go places to eat (we don’t enjoy steakhouses very much) or some coffee/tea shops. I obviously have googled all of this but I would love any recommendations !

Move to Eureka Springs?

Hello all! I used to visit Eureka Springs every summer as a kid when my grandparents lived in Arkansas. I haven’t been in years, but I’ve lived in Kansas my whole life and now that I’m an adult, I would like to move to Arkansas! I have a week’s vacation coming up in which I will be visiting you all, as well as seeing as much nature as I can! I’d love to make some connections while I’m down there and plan out a way to move out that direction. I currently work in food service making about $22/hour. I have previous supervisor experience in fast food, but prefer to keep moving up rather than back down. I currently work in an upscale sandwich shop and pub, and I love my job and the community I have here! I have wanted to move to Arkansas for a while now though, even if I start from the ground up and just rock it homeless while the weather’s fine…get me a decent job, and then hopefully a place too. I’m on kind of a spiritual journey so I don’t have a lot of attachments. I don’t own much. I am very responsible and my party days are behind me…I live simply and work with my whole heart, loving and serving others in any way I can! If anybody would like to connect concerning possible employment and living arrangements, please let me know! I’d love to make some connections with kind, genuine people who would love to help a brother out! I should be down there July 19th-24th whether in the Springs, or having fun along the Ozarks. Hit me up! I’m a young, 28 year-old man full of heart and ready for adventure! 😊

Off The Beaten Path - Swimming

Planning a girls trip in middle of August, and staying on the same side of the lake as Eureka Springs.
We need off the beaten path swimming areas just for relaxing and some swimming or wadding.
Nothing fancy, but just a quiet place.

Drive to eureka ?

I was wondering how the drive over to eureka from the north is (ks). A year ago when I was driving down through the Colorado mountains my car got up to 80 and the brakes locked up. I didn’t know anything about changing gear lol. I know it seems stupid but I’m also kinda afraid of heights haha so I’m wondering if it’s a drive I could make or if there are super steep downhill parts. I really would like to go though !

Thinking about visiting July 9-12 and looking for hotel advice

Wife and I are looking to come down for a quick getaway and looking for input on a place to stay while we're there. We'd like to be able to park our vehicle when we get there and either walk or take the trolley to explore. We are looking for a bit of nightlife (live music, entertainment, and good beer) so leaning towards the New Orleans, Grand Central, or Basin Park hotels. However, we know we will end up at Gravity Bar at least one time so the Wanderoo is tempting (and much cheaper) but I'm afraid we will be underwhelmed with the room for 3 nights. Any advice on these or other places I might have missed would be greatly appreciated.

Any good free hiking spots?

I’m heading to eureka springs for the first time ever this weekend and wanted to know if there are any free trails or hiking spots? I’ve never been here so just trying to get a hike planned while we are there. Thanks!

I’m thinking of moving to your area. What can you tell me about your little town?

Firstly, I’m a musician and I booked a few shows in Bentonville and Springdale and now have a show coming up at Chelsea’s in your town! Firstly, are there TONS of venues to play live at within a 2-3 hour radius? How easy is it to meet reliable friends? How expensive to rent a room? Tell me everything! lol
