I've been repeatedly told that this is the most beautiful Irish jig ever and my friend recorded his version for me, it's called 'Merrily kissed the Quaker'
It is such a joyous happy energetic tune and I'll never tire of listening to it on repeat, particularly when I need extra dopamine for housework etc😄

I cleared my Google history and lost a channel I really liked.
A while back—maybe a few months ago—I was listening to various interviews on a YouTube channel dedicated to fingerstyle guitar, mostly jazz.
I don't remember the channel's name; I just recall that the theme was fingerstyle and there were several long interviews with guitarists, mostly from the jazz world...
I'm blind so I can't say anything about the visuals, but it sounded like the interviews were conducted remotely, maybe via Zoom. Also, the tone was very conversational and there was not much fluf...

My problem is the amount of noise that The pick up reproduces and I would like to know how do you experience people deal with that? Is that unavoidable? Can I do something to reduce the scratching noise that my fingers make while playing?

I just got back into playing after taking an 8 year break and I’d love for some feedback on the technique or structure or ideas for how I can develop this sound further. I play pretty unconventionally with the guitar on my lap, almost like it’s a drum. I don’t know how to loop or anything like that yet, so it’s all from a single play through.
