India Plans 15% Isobutanol Blending In Diesel To Boost Biofuel Transition: Gadkari
freepressjournal.inAnswer to 'Why the opposition is silent on E20 fuel?', We're doomed 😑
Should I be using fuel additive in the E20 compliant bike??
I've driven my bike about a 1000km now and i saw somewhere that everyone despite of the E20 compliance should use the petrol additives? Is it so that, we should use it? And if yes which ones do you guys recommend??
What we will do with these false promises ??

Ethanol policy 2003?
Is it true that ethanol policy was launched in 2003?
Opposition is silent, it makes sense.
E20 is ruining our cars, but the ground reality of ethanol factories is straight up dystopian.
We already know the whole E20 story and how this forced blend is eating our engines and killing our mileage. But the ground reality of how this ethanol is actually being made truly exposes the sheer hypocrisy of forcing it down on us by justifying it in the name of environment protection.
Look at the sheer amount of pollution these plants are dumping. They are poisoning the groundwater and destroying the local environment. And who actually profits from this? Gadkari, his family’s agro firms, and the massive sugar lobby. Their revenues have magically shot up since this mandate started, while we pay ₹100+ for fuel that actively destroys our own vehicles.
What blows my mind is how blatantly this is happening in broad daylight. They aren't even trying to hide the conflict of interest anymore. Why is there absolutely zero protest spirit left in us? We just quietly accept getting robbed at the fuel pump, having our cars ruined, and watching the environment get trashed so a specific political nexus can print money.

Folks with diesel vehicles, it's our time now :(

Fuel mixing
If I mix 5L E20 petrol and 5L XP100 petrol, do I effectively get 10L of E10 blend?
We know we have observed drop in mileage, power etc using E20. But XP100 (0% Ethanol) is very expensive. If I mix these fuels let's say in ratios 80:20, 70:30, 60:40, 50:50, does it make sense? Both economically and health of the vehicle.
Has anyone tried it?
My lame ass filled a full tank of E20 just before parking the car for months 🤡
Took my Alto K10 on a \~700 km solo trip and decided to do a proper tank-to-tank mileage test.
Filled it to the brim before the trip and topped it up again after returning.
Mileage? 16 km/L.
The previous time I did the exact same test, she returned 20 km/L.
Before anyone blames my right foot:
\- AC ON both times.
\- Cruising between 80–100 km/h.
\- Same driving style.
The only major difference I can think of is E20 fuel.
Can E20 alone cause such a noticeable drop, or is something else going on?
Now here's where my lame ass deserves an award... 🤡
After getting home, I happily filled the tank to the brim again... only to remember that the car is going to sit unused for the next few months.
So now I've got a full tank of E20 just chilling in the fuel tank.
Am I overthinking this, or should I be worried about ethanol sitting in the tank for that long?
Would love to hear from fellow car owners or anyone who's been through the E20 era. 😭
How come the ethanol issue became so popular now?
We in this sub have been crying about it for more than a year now, but suddely it gained traction. Mainstream media are discussing about it and more and more people starts blurting out in social media. I’m genuinely happy, but thinking what caused this sudden outrage. Did they made the petrol to E22 now or something? Or the last one year’s damage is reflecting on vehicles now only?
solution to ethanol problem isnt posting gadkari memes
Posting memes like this won't achieve anything. Tell people to stop buying ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles. Hit the government's tax collection and the auto industry's revenue. When the companies' quarterly reports turn out terrible, they will put pressure on the government. You know why we are being denied BYD and having to settle for Tata, right? Lobbying is highly effective.
gadkari knows his fate, he knows very well that this is his last term as MP/MLA and after this he can never win an election so he is on full spree to mint money. plus the ecosystem is profitting all shareholders be it those in power or in oppositon
