No matter which stream option I choose, or how good my internet is, watching youtube on grayjay chokes and buffers if the resolution is higher than 240p. But if I watch on the mobile web version, all other things being the same, it runs flawlessly. I know youtube is throttling adblock users, but it can't detect UBO. Could youtube be throttling Grayjay?
Someone else already made a similar post two years ago.
If there's no option to block or moderate to post, an option disable comments altogether as an, both Platform and Polycentric would be great.
I get they obviously can't control any comments on YouTube.
Polycentric have some kind of working filter but when it comes to unfavorable comments you can only hope people downvote enough to hide it.
I personally rather have an option to turn off comments altogether for the sake of brain rot. If I want to be dumb I rather it be the videos I watch not the users being so rude on the comment section.
I do acknowledge the folks working on GrayJay don't always look around here for suggestions or bug fixes. But hey, if you see this, food for thought! The rest of ya'll thanks for reading!
