Tried to buy a Groupon today, for the first time in quite a while, but was told my email/account was deactivated, and to contact support. Go to support, and it says log in for Chat. You can see where I’m going with this…

How do I contact Groupon support if I can’t log into my account?

Is The Groupon AMC Black Tickets Offer A Scam?

My wife is going to take our kids and a friend to Toy Story 5 tomorrow. I checked AMC website and that would be $70 with the Tuesday discount and online fees.

I checked Groupon and saw 4 of the Black Tickets for about $56 and figured this was a better deal. I bought those and applied them to my order and the price dropped from $70 to... $35! What the shit!?! I just paid $56 to lower my purchases price by $35 dollars?? I'm no account, but that seems stupid... Wait a second! I AM AN ACCOUNTANT! I can confirm, that is stupid!!

I can only assume there's some magical exact scenario where using these tickets would be beneficial, but it's clearly not this. Does anyone have any experience using these tickets successfully?

Vendor gave incorrect information, groupon won't provide credit (bucks)

Lucky Strike bowling groupon

Voucher says groupon is not valid after 6 pm on Saturday nights.

I called the local Lucky Strike location, recording indicates no reservation for groupon. Redeem in person.

I show up on Sunday around noon. They open at 11. There are open lanes. I can see them.

Bowling attendant tells us that the groupon is not accepted on Sundays. She says multiple times that it is only valid Monday through Friday before 6 pm. This is during my work schedule. I would not buy it if that was clearly stated. It is no where on the voucher.

We exit, cross the street. While my husband browses At a store, I start the customer service chat. I am offered bucks. I indicate that I prefer a refund. I now regret this decision. Fine. Case escalates to a live person. I am told they need to review and will get back to me.

Lucky Strike denies it. Groupon says read the Fine print, it is up to the vendor if they accept it or not. They suggest i use the groupon during an off peak time.

Not happy, I ask for them to escalate. This takes 3 more days. In the meantime, the groupon expires.

As of today, they won't give me the bucks/credit originally offered. They say it is final sale and out of their hands.

I am pissed. If anyone from groupon is reading this and can provide help to simply get a credit, I would appreciate it. I really can't believe how horribly this has unfolded. I was a long time user. Not anymore. Nope.

The Groupon Regal cinemas deal is such a scam its ridiculous.

I tried emailing this message to the CEO but I got blocked lol and regal and groupon customer service was no help.

I purchased five tickets through Groupon, which advertised a 35% discount based on an original price of $21.00 per ticket. However, I found this pricing to be misleading, as standard tickets at my local theater typically range from $13.00 to $17.00. 
Additionally, the fine print did not clearly state that additional fees would apply for in-person redemption. After paying $62.92 for the Groupon and an additional $7.50 in fees by redeeming at the theater, my total came to $70.42. Given that the standard price for our matinee showing would have been $74.45, the actual savings were negligible and far below the advertised 35%.

So after i bought the Groupon tickets I didnt want to pay online fees on the regal site so I drove to regals to redeem the tickets in person and to choose my seats to hopefully avoid the additional fees and the redemption process was also quite difficult. There was no one at the box office so i was directed to redeem them at the concession stand.

“Why in the Twilight Zone are we purchasing tickets at the long concession stand line?!!!”
Having to wait in a long concession line to redeem tickets was stressful with the uncertainty that your seats will get taken particularly as a parent with an anxiety disorder, and the outdated scanning equipment further delayed the process. I even watched an elderly man struggling to decide with the different ticket prices and viewing options. Honestly the line felt like it was forever. I finally redeemed my Groupon tickets only for the employee to charge me 7.50 in additional fees because apparently there’s surcharges. I decided to just pay it because it didnt want to be a pain to my family.
The employee that had helped me also mentioned that people who used a Groupon voucher and redeemed in person had complained about the additional fee as well. I also complained to someone who i think was the manager but they couldnt really do anything about it and Groupon site doesnt even have a live person to chat to. My overall experience is a negative.

In the end, Groupon and Regals has a lack of transparency regarding these fees and the discrepancy in the advertised original prices. I believe the current Groupon offer is misleading for customers attending matinee screenings and it honestly feels like a scam. The families that attend this location are generally low income families. Please do better. Please add a groupon deal for matinee hours.

Use your vouchers before Groupon files for bankruptcy!!

Groupon SUCKS!!! For everyone by Groupon. The class-action lawsuit they lost didn't make them any better. They have been failing as a company and almost closed up shop a few years ago. I don't want to be holding any Groupons when they file for bankruptcy.

My voucher expired in April help please

I had a restaurant Groupon and it expired in April. I was unwell so didn’t know.

They said they won’t refund me or give credit. So now I have asked to escalate it. It’s only a few months and I was unwell.

What do the normally do.

I don’t want money back just want to use it or Groupon credit

This is in London btw
Any help is appreciated.

#update- they gave me a Groupon credit when escalated. So thank you Groupon

Groupon fraud????

hi i made an order 35 days ago & was charged however I never received a voucher for it. I checked my email and refreshed, logged in and out of the email address I used at guest checkout on the app since it’s supposed to “link” & still nothing! nothing shows up on available redeemed or expired Groupons tab, nothing in my email & my bank charged me the 292$ all over again since they had “proof they sent it” theres no chat on the app, phone number hangs up on me, has anyone resolved this issue before & how ?? what do I do???

Groupon Are Thieves

I purchased Office standard from Groupon. For weeks I've been trying to load it. Tomorrow the code expires. First off, the Groupon mobile app won't load on MacBook Pro. So after going through a bunch of different exercises, I eventually got all the info I needed, or so it was claimed. Naturally, I haven't been able to load the program. There's absolutely no customer support offered by Groupon; they claim they have customer support, but it's actually a third-party vendor who wants to charge you and get your phone number. I'm gonna let Groupon keep my money and I'm gonna tell anyone who listens what a thieving, dishonest and disreputable companyGroupon is. Good riddance to bad garbage.

Customer Support??

I bought a Groupon on Sunday and have been trying to use it now for the past couple of days to no avail. When I click on the voucher it just cycles loading over and over again without ever actually showing me the voucher available to use. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well. I really need this oil change, so now I'm trying to get into Customer Service to see what's going on with the voucher and they make you select a voucher you want to talk about, but when I click the voucher that says "Ready to Redeem" in their selection options it just takes me to this blank page that says no voucher available use the chat for help, and there's seemingly no way to get to said chat without starting the cycle again. I'm at a bit of a loss on how to proceed.
