Came to Guwahati for the first time, and I didn't expect to like the city this much. The journey from Delhi was a long one, but totally worth it. Everyone I've met has been really nice, the hospitality has been great, and I genuinely can't get enough of the chai here.

I'll be around for a few days and I'm staying at Hotel Gateway Grandeur. If anyone's free and wants to grab a coffee or chai, chat, or just hang out, feel free to DM me.

Also, if there are any places I absolutely shouldn't miss such as cafés, local food, viewpoints, or anything else. I'd love some recommendations. Looking forward to exploring more of the city. 😊

Today's weather seems nice, I am currently situated around North Guwahati, and the water level here is relatively very low as compared to the main city.

Does anyone around this location want to hangout for some activity?

I also need suggestions about what can be done here apart from cafe/resturant/food. I want to go out today since it has been long time since I could just chill and hangout. Can something like playing board games or cards or maybe jamming possible?

Edit: i don't even mind shopping if possible, or if anyone wants to go for a grocery run, i can accompany in that as well, i don't mind any mundane task also. I just want to go out today to chill and relax.

I apologise but I am not much updated with the news, so i don't know how the main city is currently, is it accessible or not or if it's safe to go there or not.

Any suggestions? Anyone wants to just hangout, go for a walk/run(I am currently very out of shape), play, jam music or other things?

Since I'm new to Guwahati, I'm a bit confused about which locality would be the best. So far, I've been recommended Jalukbari, Amingaon, and Adabari Tiniali. I visited some of these areas today, but I'd really appreciate insights from people who actually live in Guwahati or have studied at NLUJAA.

I'm looking for a locality that has:

• A decent residential/apartment community
• Good connectivity to NLUJAA
• Daily essentials nearby (grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.)
• A generally student-friendly environment
