I finally got a decent bonus from work and was planning to treat myself to a good pair of headphones

the problem is every model i look at seems to have a fan club and a hate club at the same time lol. some people care about sound quality, others only talk about ANC, comfort, battery life, app features... and now i'm more confused than when i started

i'll mostly be using them for music, flights, and working from coffee shops a few times a week

for people who have owned a few pairs over the years, which over-ear headphones genuinely lived up to the hype?

Just a raw recording of a video call I held in 2024 with a factory of headphone parts on Alibaba. They made similar spring stee headbands.
