Hobie outback seat. Is this broken?

question to outback owners (+2019)

The seat doesn't sit well with the tilt rotate method. is the front lever that raises and lower the sea broken?

any idea what's the part number and how it should look like

Can you repair a dent easily?

*Sigh* just got home with my Hobie and notice this significant dent. Didn't spot it because it was on the wall side of the building when I was loading my kayak up.

It's the only one left and a deal on a older model year so I rather not return it and instead maybe get store credit refund + push it back out.

Any info or advice on that? Or is this not fixable and it will screw up my warranty?

Would you get a Hobie Pro angler 12 360 on sale or Angler 14 360 regular price?

I have a Old Town Bigwater 132PDL and always looke at Hobies to but was a bit much. The 360 drive seems really good.

I could get a Pro Angler 12 on sale for 6127$ CAD (4427$ USD) compared to Pro Angler 14 regular price at 8479$ CAD (6188$ USD)

I know longer boat means more speed but how slower is the 12? I do like my speed of my Bigwater but ready to sacrifice.

Skew won’t drop

Hello.
I’ve got a 2023 PA 12 180 and I never really used my skeg since I’ve owned it because when I tried I never really noticed any kind of difference. The cart I store the kayak on is very low to the ground so I never really mess with it.

One day I was giving it a thorough cleaning and I had it higher up off the ground and I thought I would drop the skeg because I was curious how far it went down when I realized it doesn’t move. The cord goes in, but the skeg doesn’t come down. I can pull it down by hand, but if I push it back in manually, it will stay there.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to what could be happening or how I can fix this please?
