Consolidating my lab onto a different platform. Selling four items — happy to split or do a bundle deal. **£7,000 for everything** if you want to walk away with a turnkey homelab in one transaction (saves ~£1,950 off itemised). All kit lives in a climate-controlled acoustic cabinet, smoke-free, fully tested.

## 1. HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 — £6,500 OBO (firm under £5,200)

The headline item. **112GB total VRAM** across five GPUs in a single 2U chassis — Quadro RTX 8000 for heavy lifting, 4× Tesla T4 for parallel/batch work. Currently running vLLM + LiteLLM in front for disaggregated inference (prefill on the Quadro, decode on the T4s).

- 2× Intel Xeon Platinum 8276 (56C/112T total, 2.2GHz / 4.0GHz boost, Cascade Lake, AVX-512)

- 256GB DDR4 ECC HPE Smart Memory RDIMM @ 2933 MT/s (8× 32GB, 16 DIMM slots free for expansion to 1.5TB)

- 1× NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 (48GB GDDR6, NVLink-capable, 260W passive-cooled)

## 2. 12U Orion Wooden Acoustic Cabinet (skinned matte black) — £950 collection only (firm under £800)

Premium acoustic-lined cabinet from Orion (rackcabinets.co.uk), £2,400+ new. Professionally re-finished in matte black for domestic-friendly looks. 3kW heat dissipation rating, 820mm internal depth, lockable front and rear doors, all four casters roll cleanly.

**Included:** Cabinet, 2× rack-mountable UK 13A PDUs, 1× 1U thermostat-controlled fan unit, all keys, all cage nuts/bolts.

~60kg empty. **Collection only** from Kettering — bring a van and a friend.

## 3. HPE FlexFabric 5900CP-48XG-4QSFP+ (JG838A) — £750 (firm under £600)

Datacentre-grade 10G/FCoE convergence switch. 48× SFP+ ports that run as 1/10GbE OR 4/8/16Gbps Fibre Channel, plus 4× 40G QSFP+ uplinks. 1.28 Tbps switching, Layer 3, Comware v7, IRF stacking.

**Included:** Switch, 2× JC680A 650W PSUs, 2× JC683A fan trays, HPE rack mount kit (5066-0850), 2× UK C13 cables, console cable.

Tested, factory reset, latest stable Comware v7. Originally a £3,000+ switch new. I can share my Comware config notes with the buyer if they're new to the OS.

## 4. Dell PowerEdge R430 1U Server — £750 OBO (firm under £650)

Solid 1U Proxmox/ESXi node with serious RAM density for the size.

**Specs:**

- Dual Xeon E5-2600 series (exact model on request)

- 256GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM (8× 32GB, runs at 2400 MT/s in this platform)

- 4× 1GbE onboard (Broadcom 5720), iDRAC 8

- Dual hot-swap PSUs

- Sliding rails included

**Honest RAM note:** The DIMMs originated in an HPE system and have been tested working in this R430. iDRAC may flag "non-Dell validated" warnings — cosmetic only, doesn't affect operation. Happy to swap to Dell-branded RAM for +£80 if it's a dealbreaker.

## Bundle Deal — £7,000 for everything

Take all four items in one transaction:

- DL380 Gen10 AI rig

- 12U acoustic cabinet + PDUs + fan unit

- 5900CP 10G/40G switch

- R430 1U node

Total individual ask: £8,950. **Bundle: £7,000** — saves you ~£1,950 and saves me four separate deals. Collection only for the bundle (the cabinet weighs ~60kg and there's no clean way to courier everything separately if you're buying it all).

## Logistics

**Location:** Kettering, Northamptonshire. Central UK — easy 2-hour reach from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol. M1/A14 access.

**Collection:** strongly preferred — test on-site, deduct courier costs from the price. Knock £150 off the DL380, £15 off the switch, £10 off the R430 if collecting.

**Shipping:**

- DL380: palletised UK courier at buyer's cost (~£80–100, signed-for, fully insured). **GPUs removed and shipped in separate padded box** to prevent PCIe slot damage in transit.

- 5900CP: £25 next-day signed-for.

- R430: £20 next-day signed-for.

- Cabinet: collection only.

- No international shipping. No Highlands/Islands courier.

**Payment:**

- PayPal G&S preferred (buyer pays fee, both sides protected)

- Bank transfer from established accounts (DM for details)
